Do you call this a tribute? You rather reinforced the corrupt misdeeds associated with your idol PV; why do you have to mention a fat envelop to help pay your children's school fess? That was the motivation that kept you all as hangers-on of the gravy train of corruption. PV assisted in overthrowing an elected government and you hail him for using you as informants to keep P/NDC in power for 25 years and still counting...! The guy only served his selfish interests as has been the case of all these pseudo social democrats. This is the reason why other races consider the African as incapable to rule a nation properly-destroying a working school system and replacing it with half baked ideas. NDC has destroyed the NHS, school feeding programme, the metro bus for school children, maternal health care, and unable to complete the stretch of road between the two main cities in Ghana, and yet they have been in power for 25 years out of Ghana 57 years of independence and still counting. This tribute is pure trash!!

If PV OBENG built Ghana like you are claiming Ghana would have been having better health service delivery and he would have a beneficiary as well, better road network system, better education system, and better socio-economic conditions now.
Instead PV OBENG and his cohorts amassed wealth forgetting that we will not leave this earth with nothing. What do you want to achieve with your useless tribute here? To praise a thieve and a corrupt "leader"? GOD IS GREAT.

The writer of this article is merely a sepearatist wwho believes in a Ghana belonging to the JJ's. News is Ghana is not for JJ nor onadu nor PV belated, but for all Ghanaians, NPP, NDC, Independents, PNC etc. So stop trying to resurrect dead ideoplogies. It is a normal Ghanaian practice to say all the beautiful things about a dead person even if there are glaring faults with the person. Unfortunately we Ghanaians try as much as possible to hide the faults of the dead as if the dead never committed even a single sin during his lifetime. PV as a man was a great politician. He achieved so much for himself and his family and some of us admire him.In the same breadth,PV Obeng was as guilty as sin when it comes to the atrocities committed by the PNDC of which he was a leading member .PV Obeng was as corrupt as many of the officials in high positions during the PNDC and NDC days. PV Obeng may have his strong points as an individual however we should not make it to look like he never even got close to doing wrong during his lifetime on this earth. If for nothing I know for a fact that the owner of Mankoadzi fisheries who employed him in his ship was very bitter to the day he died, on how PV had treated him by using his ship to smuggle arms into the country to stage a coup and later pretended as if he did not know the Mankoadzi man. The purpose of writing life story of dead people should be to expose their life so the young ones will learn the good parts to help them make informed judgment and decisions for their own lives and to avoid the bad parts. Singaparee the disappointed revolutionary can go the the end of this earth to eulogize PV . However some of us also know that he committed serious sins against mankind, his maker and his countrymen.
