  Can you tell us who should make the appointments you mentioned in your article, and how? A greater number of Ghanaians have lost confidence in the Electoral Commission. More Ghanaians also believe that there are far too many government appointments, including ministers.It may not be who makes the appointments; it may be that Ghana is saddled with unnecessaary government positions.

  Thanks for another brilliant piece. You make me so proud. It is good you are bringing the politicians back home.
  
  Dr. Michael Bokor, I tried to attach some comments on Parts I/ll of your piece on Afrifa, to Part ll of the series, specifically, but was unsuccessful. I am not too sure what went wrong with Ghanaweb.
  
  However, I am yet to post my last piece on Afrifa, "Where is the Source of the Nile?", on Ghanaweb. It is already done but there are snippets of ideas I need to add.
  
  It is strange some Ghanaweb readers are continually claiming I am always quoting others without imbuing my write-ups with the palpable presence of my auctorial voice, yet they still complain when I give them political satire, or what is loosely if technically called "literary journalism," "narrative nonfiction," or "creative nonfiction." Fortunatley, these political satires are devoid of quoations or bibilographies.
  
  I don't know what exactly these nagging readers want given that writing, whether technical, journalistic, or creative, comes in many different styles, for instance, the "imagism" of Wole Soyinka, the "iceberg theory of omission" of Ernest Hemmingway or of Joan Didion, the "magical realism" of Ben Okri or of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the "stream of consciousness (or interior monologue)" of William Falkner.
  
  I have tried covert experimentation with these literary styles and some readers still complain. I am presently at authorial croassroads.
  
  Anyway, thanks for sharing this beautiful piece of yours with us.

  Mce's, dce's and regional ministers should be elected to office and no more appointed. The writer has a point and I approve of it.
