Moses couldn't lead the Israeites to the promise land. He was changed halfway because his leadership style was part of the problem, that made the people turned their back against God, and rather worship the Egyptian gods in the wilderness. As a result God changed him for Aaron who got them onto the promise land. And God forbid Moses to step foot on te promiseland. Going by the author's analogy, if Nana Addo is like Moses, then NPP is in a big trouble presenting him for 2016, because he s bound to lose again, as his eyes would see the flagstaff house but will never occupy the seat as Moses saw Canaan, but didn't step there.
It's then a lesson for the NPP to change Nana Addo and choose someone who floating voters and voters from other minority parties including liberal NDC sympathisers would accept and vote for like what happened in Kufour's era, especially in 2000 when we had mass defections from the NDC to NPP. I'm sad NPP is not THINKING nowadays, but have allowed emotions and propagandist taken over this GREAT PARTY.

Michael one thing you forget to realise was that Nana Akufo-Addo is not and will never be Moses' Moses was chosen and given the authority to lead by God. It was a divine message and an intervention by God. Moses did not impose himself on the Israelites. He did not say 'all die be die' or condoned the tribal utterances of 'kill all the Ewes and Gas'. May be it would be interesting if you could explain why Moses did not reach the promised land? May a comparison between Moses and Akufo-Addo and you could see the diferences why your article was very lacking in content, intellectual validity and common sense. I believe your explanation may shine some light on why Aaron became the leader and got the Israelites to the promised land. Please try to face the fact. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo WILL NOT reach the promised Land like Moses. Flagstaff House is near but Nana would not step into this blessed place as a leader of Ghana. He will dream about it but there is nothing he can do about it. As an advice to you Mr Kessey, in future give your article a deeper thought by considering wisdom, common sense and intelligence. Don't just paste any senseless article on this forum.

Whoever you bring as presidential candidate NPP will be whipped and humiliated at the polls in 2016. Ghanaians are wise. NPP AND ITS ILK ARE DAYDREAMERS. They make so much noise and only listen to themselves and deceive themselves that the whole world is following them. 2016 is not far off. We saw them from 2001 to 2008 and know the stuff they are made of. Nobody needs to tell you they are clueless but make so much noise. EMPTY BARRELS MAKE THE MOST NOISE.

Nobody should be deceived: Nana Addo is a Hitler, Iddi Amin, Bokassa all rolled into one. He is a psychopath who will within two years of coming into Office collapse this country economy. Mark my words. Since childhood he had had his way which has made him very intolerant to opposing views: and he is ready to resort to violence to get his way.
To give such a person the awesome and absolute power that we give our Presidents, is to sign our death warrants.
As a psychopath, he has got charisma and it is this weapon that he charms people with and they believe he is a nice man: just get into his hands and you will know that "noko ye gyen". Please Ghanaians we have suffered enough in the hands of politicians through the years; lets wise up. They told us Nkrumah was a bad man despite all the rapid developments we had; we then threw him away. Then Busia came and put in motion the destruction of these projects, he said rural development and that didn't go any where and we kicked him out. Then Acheampong came, started re-building what has been destroyed by Busia but things got worse and out he went. Did things get better? A BIG no! Then Rawlings; we sang his praises because things did start to get better. For 10 years, between 1977 and 1987 there were no goods in the stores but business began to pick up; then we were told to get rid of him because he is a bad man.We did. Has things got better? Did Kuffour made things better? No. Atta Mills? No. Mahama? of course, not as we see it. Now who are all behind these failures? The same RECYCLED crooked politicians, assisted by their hangers-on, who only come to loot the national coffers, steal lands, vehicles etc as a matter of fact, anything they can lay their hands on they take it.
Now they are at it again. When one crooked group is in power the other opposing group will come and sing sweet lullaby of how they are Angels sent from Heaven by God to come and save us and then we fall asleep and before we realise our stupidity we are naked.
Ghanaians how long shall we be deceived? If we are handing over our power to a single person lets do it because we have to it; not that we will have anything in return. Politicians are only a pack of hungry wolves on prowl this time led by hungry lion.
