Your article is indeed a lesson to all those who will be handling the Black Stars from now on, particularly the coach. Each player of the Black Stars should be studied well and find every possible means to get the best of that player. The management team and the coach failed the country badly because the did not know the players very well. Hence, the could not handle the them.

Although I agree with criticism being inflicted on the incompetent coach and the president of GFA. To compare players' European clubs-team management to our National team management is not only contradictory but it portrays how slavery and respect must be given to the whites.

Mr writer, don't you think Muntari and Boateng are able to be in the company of clubs in Europe because they fear a whiteman than blackman's instructions? Don't you also think they see their white coaches as richer than them and must respect them, while they see local black star managers as poor comparing with their weekly salaries they receive from their European clubs? Although I entirely disagree for Kwasi Appiah to continue to be the coach, Kelvin, mutari and other players think they got a lot of money than Kwasi Appiah and other managers and therefore no cordial respect shld be given to them, after all they are being coached in their respective clubs in Europe by rich white coaches.

If not amount of money Muntari had accumulated, I don't think he would have slapped a manager who is even older than him and culturally here in Ghana and in Bible, elderly people must be respected. But he thinks he is richer and can do anything he wants after all you are a poor black manager who is trying to succeed by trying to procure a position in the team management. In order for black star to succeed, we must hire a white coach until our foreign players begin to render and give respect to our black local coaches. Or we must hire a black local coach who will pick his players locally from our local teams: Heart Oark, Kotokoto etc and get rid of these rich foreign players. This is the only we can win a world cup.

I was one of those who favored the hiring of a ghanaian coach to manage the BS. Reminiscing events of the just ended FIFA WC I'm convinced Kwasi Appiah was the wrong pick of a coach. Appiah appears to have personality issues. He's timid and indecisive and has poor managerial skills. His inability to handle player revolt says much about his flaws as a team coach.
Most of his players are professionals in well organized and successful clubs. It's the manager's responsibility to harness the potential of the players who have varying personality traits. If other coaches have done it successfully with these same players then Appiah must accept responsibility for falling short of expectation, to put it mildly. When it mattered most he failed to conduct himself professionally with professional players.
A professional team manager sees situations and handles what he sees to achieve his goals. He's focused, clear minded, unemotional and does not let mistakes slide by.
Worst of all his shortcomings, Kwasi Appiah failed to draw the line between his job and his emotional attachment to his employers who also double as his benefactors. He became a pawn in the hands of his GFA bosses and allowed himself to be manipulated to the detriment of his players . Instead of seeking to promote the interests and protecting the rights of his players he found himself taking sides with the self seeking GFA officials. Both Nyantakyi and Appiah must go. Nyantakyi is corrupt and has outlived his usefulness. As for Appiah, he is just not cut out for the job. The playing body stays.

The Black Stars could have been in the semi finals or even the finals. Ghana lost another opportunity to shine simply because of our poor managers.Take a simple case of the two Boateng's, one who played for the winning team-Germany and the other who played for the losing team Ghana.Ghanaians must admit the fact that our Black star team officials displayed gross incompetence and their inexperience in managing highly professional players has been brought to the fore.No amount of Kwesi Nantakyi's tomfoolery will save him.The whole Black Star officials need to be sacked right away and be replaced by more exeperienced and seasoned Ghanaians who know what professionalism in football means.

By the way, KPB don`t(repeat)don`t have any history of misconduct in any of the teams he has played across EU, and that is the simply fact,and always been one of the best loved among his team mates due to his brothers-keeper mentality. Check that out from HERTA-DORTMUND-PORTHMOUTH-NAPOLI-AC to SCALKE.Last but not least,he`s at present the deputy captain at Scalke and which top-class European soccer team will make an indiscipline player a captain. AA is a timid,foolish,primitive and jealous coach.
