Let's be real and face reality. Would Okudzet Ablakwah have called for the American Embassy to apologize to President Mahama and Ghanaians if whoever tweeted on the American account had praised President Mahama for cutting his salary by ten percent?

Instead the Embassy questioned the genuineness of Mahama's so called sacrifice and his lapdogs, Ras Mubarak, Hannah Tetteh and Okudzeto Ablakwah all realized foreigners especially those representing their countries in Ghana have no business to dabble in our political affairs in the name of our sovereignty.

"Ghana is a vibrant country with huge potential"

I am waiting for Okudzeto, Mubarak, Hannah Tetteh and other Ndc Mahama apologists to ask the British High Commissioner to apologize to the people of Ghana for traversing on our sovereignty by saying the above.

Why? because what he said is factual and everyone knows the state of affairs with regards to our shameful under-utilization of our own resources. I see that as an act of belittling from the UK but it is true that is why we accept it in good faith. What the US did is unacceptable. At first I didn't even want to rebuke the US because our President himself is stubborn, refuses to listen to wise counsel and deserve blame for going to the bed with the US by planning to hand part of our energy sector to them instead of vigorously supporting state enterprises to take over like Mills was doing.

It was also a unanimous decision of parliament which involved your NPP Parliamentarians who together with the majority, were in the hurry to press for executive approval for their ex gratia. So that corner in your arguments is false so bin it. It wasn't Mahama who increased his pay. Rather, it was parliament in their trap-setting unanimity which forced the issue. Parliament controls the national purse and not the executives. The fact that NPP parliamentarians joined the majority to do this was an indication that the issue was out of Mahama's hands

My conclusion is voluntary pay-cut is a personal sacrifice. That is why the US apologized Ambassy tweet is damn false and irresponsible

This is the game our Politicians play on Ghanaians by hiding behind the ill-advice Rawlings 1992 constitution. The you wash my back and I wash yours corrupt salary increase fraud between the Executive and legislative branches of government in Ghana is disgraceful.

The constitution stipulates that the Executive branch of government with the President as head will be responsible to increase the pay of Parliamentarians and it will be the responsibility of Parliament to increase the pay of the Executive. If the Executive increase the salaries of Parliamentarians as Mahama did of 50 percent, does it surprise you that Parliament also increased the salaries of the Executive by 60 percent?

Bombastic Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe must surely know that Ghanaians do not need the USA (of all countries in the world) to tell Ghanaians how to manage their own affairs. We can do it ourselves without input from malevolent and extremely manipulative foreign powers. The role of the CIA in fomenting trouble in numerous countries is well known. The CIA has a track record of stirring up trouble in countries in order to eventually install governments that do the bidding of the USA without question. Ghanaian journalists on the payroll of foreign intelligence services, bought union leaders , civil servant, think tank groups and especially NGOs (funded overtly or covertly by the USA CIA )are all tools in the armoury of the a hegemonic USA hell bent on complete global domination.
In recent years the USA has especially targeted African countries because of the rapid growth of bilateral and mutually beneficial trade between African states and countries such as China which have now largely pushed out Western countries. While the Chinese have not always behaved in a gentlemanly fashion in Africa in contrast to the Americans they have been fairer in their bilateral trade deals the African continent and the results have been spectacular. The USA ( WITH ITS USUALLY ONE -SIDED APPROACH TO TRADE AND DEVELOPMENT) has kept a jealous eye on the Chinese-African developing relationship and is now determined to put this to an end at all costs. I want to ask our American friends a question: WHAT HAS AMERICA DONE FOR AFRICA IN THE LAST 60 YEARS? OR IF I WANT TO BE EVEN MORE HISTORICAL LET ME ASK WHAT HAS THE USA'S RELATIONSHIP WITH AFRICANS BEEN LIKE OVER THE SPAN OF THE LAST 300 YEARS? I will not even talk about slavery. It’s no good American politicians telling "clueless" Africans to be wary of the "cunning" and "devious" Chinese. Warning Africans about these “dangerous” Chinese is nothing more than a reflection of the fact that most American policy makers including Hilary Clinton think Africans are incapable of thinking for themselves. I ask Mrs Clinton and her friends , did the Chinese take Africans back to China as slaves or are our American friends trying to rewrite history? The Chinese have only been in Africa over the past 20 years or so and their effect on the continent has been incredible as we have seen the improvement in infrastructure everywhere.
Whatever we say about the Chinese at least in contrast to our Western and ESPECIALLY American friends their contact with Africans has been MUTUALLY Beneficial. Compare that to American led interventions in Libya and other parts of the world. American –African trade has always been rabidly exploitative with little or no benefit and often time downright detrimental to the well being of African states. The USA has embarked on a rampage, flouting its military might at will and leaving in its wake death and destruction of unimaginable proportions. A proud and hubristic USA no longer sees the need to negotiate or employ diplomacy in its relationship with other nations. This approach has only served to diminish the USA in the eyes of the rest of the world and increasingly made many emerging states see the USA as nothing more than a declining power determined to cling to its privileged position. The stamp of the USA on any country it intervenes in is characterised by Chaos and disorder and extreme suffering for the people of the countries unlucky to have the Americans take an interest in them- just look at Libya and Iraq. DO WE TRULY WANT AMERICA GETTING INVOLVED IN OUR AFFAIRS? GHANAIANS HAD BETTER PRAY VERY VERY HARD INDEED. MY FEAR IS THAT A CORRUPT AND INCOMPETENT NDC HAS POSSIBLY OPENED THE DOOR FOR A MALEVOLENT USA LED INTERVENTION IN GHANA IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE.
Expect going forward a coordinated, well funded multi-pronged attack against the current Mahama led administration . Many of the people being manipulated by these foreign forces may not even appreciate the larger picture and wider agenda.Thes people are nothing more than chess pieces in the hands of foreign powers who do not have the interest of Ghana at heart. The agenda may well be to ultimately replace the NDC led government with a USA CONTROLLED ONE IF NECESSARY ALONG THE LINES OF WHAT WE HAVE WITNESSED IN THE UKRAINE. The key aim of malevolent foreign powers is always to control events in the target country so that uprisings and protests appear to be occurring spontaneously without any obvious external intervention. The USA will do its desperate best to neutralize Chinese and other influences in Africa. Ghana is clearly in their sights

Yes, USA owe China not because USA government went to China and signed for loans. The Chinese government bought a lot of USA government bonds and treasury notes which a lot of other countries and individuals hold as security because of the reliability of the dollar and the history of the USA government always honouring its debts when it is due.

It's very juvenile to to compare Ghana with itscedis that is not even aacceptable in in Togo to the best and most respected currency in the world.

USA can print more dollars to pay its debt if China demands its money today by turning in the bonds and USA treasury notes. Can Ghana print cedis to pay its 20 billion dollars debt?

What you don't know is that, Bank of Ghana has been printing cedis recently to meet Mahama's promises and that is why the cedi is depreciating because our cedi is not an international money like the dollar.

A 4 trillion economy with 1.5 trillion dollar debt is manageable and that is why USA is still rated AA whilst Ghana is B rated. You don't know anything about Economics. USA is the biggest economy in the world with 4 trillion budget.

Even China with its recent prosperity is still rated below South Africa and Jamaica in terms of GDP per perso because of its I.6 billion people with more than half of the population living below the poverty line. Don't get swayed by the propaganda.

China is buying USA Government treasury because of the reliability of the dollar instead of the Yen nobody wants.
