  We are two-faced people. We are the same people who hated Spio so much when he was in Government some years back for reasons I do not want to belabor on. It is amazing how we are now heaping praises on this same person.

  The ship is already sinking. One honest person joining a cabinet chock full of corrupt officials, I'm afraid, will not make any difference. His coming on board will not bring back all the monies the top brass of his party have stashed away in their private bank accounts in South Africa, Equatorial Guinea, Angola, Togo and Kenya. And one may ask: if Ekwow Spio-Garbrah is so touted as the only shining star within the NDC apparatus, why has he been so long excluded from government in the face of the country's overwhelming challenges? Is the NDC interested in developing the country. I definitely think not!!!
