Current circumstances don't seem to present the same opportunity again. We all have something to learn from that.

I don't understand why some of you guys are trying to foist Allan over NPP at all cost. Those rebuttal points you enumerated here are clearly infantile and unconvincing to any NPP suppoter. The supporters are looking for the one who has been through electoral "wars" with them. They see Akuffo Addo as the one who was there to lift them when all the chips were down. Clearly Allan went AWOL, and the people still have a long memory of that. They know that the last election was not lost at the ballot box but through the thievery of NDC ably condoned by the God-forsaken supreme court. Akuffo Addo may have his faults just like any person but compared to Allan, he is a saint in the party. It will be utterly impossible for Allan to make any serious dent on the popularity of Nana. Just face the fact, it just won't happen. Allan has seriously damaged his opportunity even in the absence of Nana, to play any meaningful role in the party in the future. His support will always be the NPP fringes that are looking to suck him dry financially. They will tell him what he wants to hear, not the truth.

Nana and Allan are valuable assets to NPP, and for you to state that Allan has seriously damaged his opportunity even in the absence of Nana is tasteless and stupid.
I think you are looking for a flag bearer and not a president.

He is not a good politician, else he will know when to fight and when to retreat. I repeat that by his actions, he's dug his own political grave from which it would be hard to extricate himself without substantial efforts.
