Ghanaians could not even sustain them. It hurts, but you are absolutely CORRECT. Ghanaians need help from any where that has demonstrated success. US is great because of ideas from all over the world.

Anyone who knows me knows that I will have no problem farming. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of capital investment to farm where I live.

Believe it or not, I have experience with cutlass and hoes and bending for hours hoeing. I have not done it for a job.

There is this assumption and belief that for something to be good, it has to come from a foreign land. The Punjabi agric story speaks volumes about our leadership...once again, we will rather give precious national resources ...

The Punjabi agric story speaks volumes about our leadership...once again, we will rather give precious national resources to a foreigner, than do the sweat to support own own entrepreneurship. We are building more universities, but still importing technical expertise...and telling Ghanaians to buy local, but our leaders are too willing to look abroad for everything...ridiculous.

I was really shocked when I read that story. Why would anybody bring foreigners to Ghana to farm. Unless money has changed hands. It just doesn't make any sense.

1) Italians doing all the major construction works in Ghana

2) Chinese working on medium construction works in Ghana including building churches
3) South Africans/Lebanese running ...

4) Chinese operating quarries in Ghana
5) Scots running our oil and gas for us
6) Australians running our gold mines for us..

Tell me the difference between all these so called investor and these Punjabis???
