  Gabby, face it. Nana can score 100% of the vote among the NPP faithful but his national elections record s dire
  
  He has been on the ballot 3 times and has failed to get 50% 3 times. I felt he should have won the 2008 elections so easily. The moment he lost that I knew he was never going to be President. We have lost 4 swing regions under his watch. Our Parliamentary majority continues to shrink. His performance in our strongholds is dire and in the 2008 run off he increased his Eastern region vote by o.3%. Today I saw a picture of him under his comments on the IMF in the Ghanaweb news section and believe me Gabby, Nana is looking older that 70. The NDC will beat him a third time if he is elected flagbearer

  SENDERO, if it comes to Akufo-Addo, Gabby cannot face facts. He will make any bogus argument (like the one above) as long as it is favourable to Akufo.

  Gabby can never admit that Akufo-Addo is the single biggest reason NPP didn't win 2008 and 2012. The party could have won with another candidate who is well packaged and well sold. It doesn't seem Akufo-Addo can be packaged well enough to sell any better than he did the last time.
  
  The likes of Gabby are reasoning that if Akufo nearly won the last two times around then he could make it this third time. This especially since Mahama is not doing so well. But this reasoning is faulty. The fault is in Akufo-Addo the person. The man as an individual. Only NPP diehards will vote for him. Others will especially see to it that they do NOT vote for him.
  
  Right now I am in Ghana. I will make sure I register to vote. And guess if I will vote for Akufo! I will not and that is not because I like Mahama. I don't like Mahama but if Akufo will take, then Mahama should keep it. Tweah!
  
  The best gift Akufo-Addo can give to NPP is to withdraw his candidature on his own and let the party choose any other of the candidates they can sell more successfully to non-NPP Ghanaians than they can the decrepit, gaunt, washed out Akufo who wasted the two chances he was given.

  Ndc members, like Sendero and KBK are not ashamed to talk about Nana losing the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections.
  In 2008, the Ndc contrived with some electoral officers, to deface over two thousand votes which should have been credited to Nana Akufo Addo. The scale of the underhand dealings of the Ndc in the 2012 elections, was made known to all during the SC proceedings.
  Why should Ndc members be so worried about a candidate the NPP elects as its candidate in any elections?
  Did Ghana's coach Kwasi Appiah, choose the goal keeper or strikers for our opponents in the 2014 World Cup? Why should the Ndc be so worried about the candidature of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo?
