  Sadly, these are cynical tactics in our politics for votes and political support. In Ghana, all our elected governments and political leaders actively prioritise religious and tribal identities as part of our national life.

  I agree with the writer. It's about time the President settled down to the serious business of shepherding the affairs of the nation. There's nothing wrong with the President being a Christian or Moslem but we'd love to see the President and elected officials spend more time on the job fixing problems than hopping from one prayer house to the other or radio/fm station to another . God is a miracle worker but He does not take away our personal responsibilities from us. He neither rewards slothfulness nor sloppiness and foolishness. God Himself works hard. The work of the creation took Him 6 days on the job to complete and rested the 7th day. The commandment He gave to Adam after the expulsion from the Garden was "from the sweat of thy brow shall thou eat bread". It has not changed. No more junketing between shrines and altars. Stay on the job and work it out. Plz.
