Mr. Kwadwo Nketiah, your article could have carried more weight but for its premise. Next time point out state institutions you believe are run effectively and efficiently in order for you to provide a comparative analysis and conclusion therein why others do not work. It is easy in a Ghana where tribal bigotry and loyalty to political party carry sway over common sense for people to make up unsubstantiated arguments and engage in finger pointing.
I am one person who dealt with NYEP/GYEEDA in their procurement practices and knows facts from fiction that belies the crap most of you without knowledge and fact assume when talking. Do you know that in most polished companies, there are employee manuals that are provided to all employees on the date of hire or during orientation which tells each employee what is acceptable corporate climate/behavior and or best practices and procedures? Do you know where to find one for NYEP/GYEEDA? The failure of NYEP/GYEEDA is our national shame and should not fall on NDC or NPP but on a country of supposed smart people who are incapable of thinking before they act neither should we allow an atmosphere and or culture of selective outrage trump abject wrongs for the sake of tribal or political affiliations. Does it really matter that much if the YES initiative is a success because of the party initiating its very existence? Get up and get counted for Ghana needs us all with or without our burden of tribal and party prejudices; let us get our youth on a road to rebuild the land we claim to love.

Unfortunately that is not what the majority of the youth have been made to

Right now it seems we are all in this echo-chamber of very laud apocalyptic doomsday noises. Waiting for some messiah to come and make everyone happy again. Sad, very sad. In fact the president can initiate as many programs as he feels might help but
1. his own party workers will either make sure it does not succeed or will sabotage it at source and quickly call Evans mensah on the 6-oclock news.
2. almost all the 2 million Accra/Kumasi active NPP/ndp/ppp's functionaries will be be jumping and shouting it will not work .
So for the next 30 m0nths or so that is what to expect. Poor poor sad Ghana
