I don't believe a candidate's height, age and good looks are enough to address bread and butter issues. Ghanaians have done this many times before and have always paid a high price for the simple mindedness. It's only fools who keep doing the same thing in the same old ways and expect differing results each time. As far as I'm concerned Akuffo Addo is the only politician in contemporary Ghana who can put the brakes on corruption. There's compelling evidence for not just the vociferous NDC followers but open and fair minded ghanaians to indict many officials of the Kuffuor administration for corruption. Alan Kyeremanten has not whispered a word on how he's going to put a lid on the corruption in all spheres of ghanaian lives. As far as I'm concerned Kyeremanten and Mahama are the two sides of the same coin so I'm yet to be convinced the logic in replacing Mahama with Kyeremanten.

Alan Kyeremanten can never win the nomination and the presidency without the tacit support of the Nana Akuffo Addo camp. They need each other. This is the more reason why both camps should have avoided the antagonism of brash remarks to decorous conduct. Now not only are both camps badly bruised but the unrestrained skirmish has taken its toll on the "grand old party". They need to call an immediate cease-fire and behave like responsible adults because the party is bigger than any of their factions. The incompetent and clueless Mahama NDC administration which has been reeling on the ropes for some time now has been gifted with the much needed life-line that might help turn the tables in their favor.

I am using this platform to challenge all those who are saying that Nana Addo is more qualified than Alan to bring out Nana Addo's CV like what Okatakyie has done Iin this article.
Alan has had managerial experience since the age of 22 in both local and international organisations to the extend of been supported by the AU to contest for the WTO Director General position. Alan has been a minister, trade advisor and also ambassador to USA. Let us compare this sterling achievements with Nana Addo's record.
Nana Addo is a practising Lawyer, and so is Alan. Nana has been a minister of state, so is Alan. Even Nana Addo position as an Attorney General and Minister of Justice was a total failure. Have you soon forgetten 'President' vrs Tsikata. Nana has to be moved from his position to Foreign Minister to avoid total disgrace to then President Kufour and NPP.
Please, my fellow NPP members before you make comment about Alan record, take some of your precious time and read both about Alan and Nana background, and you will realised that Alan is more experience than Nana, and knows how to create jobs and put real cash into people pocket.
When it comes to managerial experience than Alan is second to none.
Let's all support Alan because by electing Nana Addo means one more defeat. Do you want another 4 more years of this tweaa Mahama government. Then let us select Alan to redeem Ghanaians from this incompetent government.

If you think Alan is fit, none of the candidates contesting the NPP leadership is sitting a wheel chair either, my friend. Even in Algeria, President Abdelaziz Bouteflika who is 77 years and in WHEEL CHAIR was given a 5-year mandate early this year, because Algerians know one doesn't govern by "legs" but the "head".
Alan is finding it so hard to get "elected" by his own party, how much easier will it be for him getting the thumb up from the general population?
