  The UP terrorists have labored a half a century years and brought forth a montrous mismash that succeeds only in turning beautiful Ghana into chaos, the majestic into mundane by unleashing suicide bombers into our homes in the 60's.

  Please keep up your rational and objective commentary, Arthur Kennedy. If NPP had more members like you willing to confront facts and speak the truth, they would win 2016 hands down. You will be vilified by the die hardship in your party but do not let that deter you-- you are the only one who is prepared to call a spade a spade.

  My simple question is if Nana Addo cant stop the hooligans in the NPP, how can he stop the corrupt ministers that will come into his government?The NPP's claim that Nana is not corrupt and will fight corruption for Ghanaians is just wishful thinking. Nana cant fight corruption. He is too old. Period.

  By every count the NPP should be well poised to win the 2016 but that now seems like a pipe dream. With the kind of leadership the NPP has at the moment the party doesn't need external enemies. Who is going to vote for a party that is busy tearing itself apart and seems to have lost all sense of direction? The thuggish Nana Akuffo Addo camp with its mafia-like set up has almost certainly succeeded in driving away floating voters as well as traditional NPP supporters whose first choice is not Akuffo Addo. Sadly the NPP has already lost the 2016 elections

  You started well but veered towards the end because of your personal dislike of Nana Akufo-Addo. The current crisis has festered because for some strange reason, the elders of the NPP and other party stalwarts kept silent while Alan Kyerematen's people insulted Nana Addo and made all kinds of wild allegations against the person of Nana Addo.
  
  Naturally, those who believe in Nana Addo were bound to hit back. Personally, I would have wished that Nana would retire after the sensational Supreme Court case. However, the NPP is supposed to be a democratic organisation. So who am I or anybody for that matter, to stop Nana or anybody else from standing for any position in NPP or any other party/organisation in Ghana, for that matter?
  
  The really sad part of this whole NPP calamity for observers and well wishers like me is that while the NDC together with the Electoral Commission are oiling their usual vote-stealing engine, the NPP members are bashing each other. The truth of the matter is that without a credible and level playing field it will not matter a jot who leads the NPP in 2016. That is not rocket science!

  How could you say that NDC and the Electoral Commission are oiling their vote-stealing engine?Are you then saying that the opposition parties are all useless or what?Nana Addo went to court to demand that the official elections results of 2012 presidential must be overturned for him to become the president.To do that,Nana Addo did not ask for a recount or a rerun in his petition.So how can the judges agree with him?His only option was to produce credible evidence of fraud or rigging prior,during and after the polls.The petitioners could not convince the judges with any credible evidence.Besides,Nana Addo himself has accepted the verdict so I find it strange that there are still some elements in NPP who still believe that the verdict was stolen.I share the same opinion with you that Nana Addo should have retired after the Supreme Court because the NDC will bury him alive with the petition when the 2016 campaign takes off.On the contrary,I totally disagree with you that NPP will still lose if they present a new face.As it stands now,NPP has been polarised and overheated with Nana and Alan factions making it unattractive to the non NPP electorates.Ghana needs a real change of govt but not the confusion that is brewing in NPP.The earlier they settle on a new candidate the better.Thank you.

  What do you think NDC's "biometric registration of members" is all about? Ignorant villagers are being told that that is the national registration exercise. Everyone knows that the national voters' register is way over-bloated. Instead of cleaning it up, the commission is rather adding more voters! When a DCE says his children must be registered by hook or crook in a place where they do not normally live, what do you think it is?
  
  Even if you discount Atuguba's bungling of his own handwriting and Baffoe-Bonney's sheer dishonesty, the verdict of the petition was close enough for any sane person to form his or her own opinion.
  
  Which part of the Supreme Court verdict is the NDC going to use to bury Nana? Fortunately the whole petition was telecast live and a majority of thinking Ghanaians know who the thieves in the country are. Fortunately, they have demonstrated all that beyond any reasonable doubt by their bungling, incompetence and sheer stupidity in government!
