  This piece should be an eye opener to our government, the movers and shakers of the economy and all stake holders. It is incumbent on all of us to join hands to prevent the greedy few from denying Ghanaians the full benefits of our oil production. I hope somebody put out there is listening. Enough thanks to Bro Solo for this enlightenment.

I can`t believe any Ghanaian with good conscience,would discard a fair and progressive regime,and adopt an arrangement that defies commonsense and logic;presumably for some 'chicken feed',which a handful of greedy bastards in this country have gotten from these 'economic vampires',who could care less about this nation`s forward progress! Do something JDM,before you become a footnote in the political history of this country.

THE NORWEGIAN ENVOY GAVE US AN ADVICE ON OIL AND GAS. THEY HAVE BEEN THERE AND SHE KNOWS FIRST HAND WHAT SHE TALKED ABOUT. THEY IN NORWEY HAVE A HUGE RESERVE DERIVED FROM THEIR OIL AND GAS REVENUES. MY TAKE IS, OUR PARLIAMENTARIANS ARE ALREADY IN THE POCKETS OF THE OIL AND GAS COMPANIES OPERATING IN THE COUNTRY AND THAT IS WHY YOUR BOOKS ARE LEFT ON THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE. THE PROFITS THAT DO NOT BELONG TO THEM WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AMONG THEM AND THE BILL WILL BE SIGNED. IF THE OIL COMPANIES CAN DISTRIBUTE JUST A FRACTION OF THE MONEY THAT SHOULD HAVE COME TO STATE COFFERS IS GIVEN TO THEM, WHY WOULD THEY HEED YOUR CAUTION OF THE BILL IN ITS CURRENT FORM? OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES ARE SEEING THE LIGHT, HOW ABOUT GHANA?

  Indeed, the FOCs had already bought many influential gatekeepers and journalists, some of whom are on they payrolls; they call it "retainers" after having been sponsored for one yr Masters courses related to oil and gas. Loads of journalists had benefited from those "scholarships".
