2. They are just promising, I shall, I will, I pledge, I direct etc. Nothing happens
3. The little they want to do, they embezzle all the money and a lot of them will be jailed soon
4. Look at tne Ministers. Okujeto Ablakwa is Dep Minister of (Tertiary)HIGHER education. What is his qualification and experience level to handle tertiary education? There you are
A government that cannot establish Akomfem project cannot establish an airline!!!!!! Period.
Tell me two things that NDC has done since they came to power? Nil
How much has been stolen by the evil dwarfs? Even Satan cannot count?
They cannot establish any airline. It is one of those wishful thinking?

YOUR POINT IS WELL TAKEN. FROM WHAT I READ IN THE NEWS, WE ARE HAVING FEASIBILITY STUDIES IN THE PROCESS. THE DETRACTORS AND GREEDY OFFICIALS WHO BROUGHT THE DEMISE OF GHANA AIRWAYS ARE STILL AROUND AND WOULD NOT MIND UNDERMINING ANYTHING THAT THE STATE DOES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BUT THEMSELVES. THEY ARE STILL YEARNING TO BE IN GOVERNMENT AND HAVE WARNED THEY WOULD SELL OUR AIRLINES ANYTIME IF THE OCCASION ARISES. THEY HAVE A MINDSET TO BE GHANA'S OVERLORDS. THEY CONSIDER THEIR POCKETS FIRST. THEY ARE PREPARED AGAIN TO SELL ANYTHING SALEABLE AND I MEAN STATE ASSETS TO BENEFIT THEMSELVES AND GIVE SOME FLIMSY REASONS WHY THEY DID IT.

Those who know the inner workings of Ghana government, albeit the majority party of the day, knows that it is our public bid process that is broken. It is the public procurement practices and procedures which gave Ghana all the judgment debts and yet not a single government rep or soul seems to understand or attempt to initiate corrective action. Instead of people learning from the Woyome saga, we have lines drawn with some in the NDC in support of Woyome as I do and everyone else in the NPP shamelessly busy and ready to lynch Afred Woyome.
The narrative you provided on past government procurement continues today because even an Oxford educated Kufour found it as good a conduit to steal and had his men as cheerleaders to stand with him. No one in the NPP, I do not expect much from even the best of NPP, to have the moral high ground to ask how the ex-presidnet Kufour could negotiate with a Chinese outfit for Ghana stadia renovation project.
If the stadia renovation was of higher priority to the NPP then what is dumso electric power generation to Kufour and Ghana. This is the irony of modern day political parties expected to correct past mistakes but turns out to be just as misguided as anyone of those in the past.

Around 2001, Ghana Airways was about to take off at Heathrow with a dead body in the hold bound for Ghana. The Ghana Airways crew came to board with a lot of personal items. As the weight limited the number of baggage to be flown that day was exceeding its limits, they made a decision to off load the dead body/coffin and rather take the personal items of the crew. It was a sunny London day so there was the possibility of the corpse smelling.
A recognised carrier then came in to volunteer to carry the corpse to Accra.
Enough said.

Mr. Krow Ohenenana Obonti, this is well researched piece, I just wish you had written it in paragraphs for easy reading and comprehension. All in all, it was a good piece.
My take on this conversation is that we should not invest a pesewa on trying to revive Ghana Airways. Why? Couple of reasons:
1. The insurance will be prohibitive.
The insurance to pay out to families in case of, God forbid, Ghana Airways plane crash or downing of our plane. We cannot afford to pay what the Malaysian Airways paid families who lost loved ones in their recent tragedies.
2. More reliable carriers will be the preferred airlines to travel on. We can't compete against British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, Delta, Korean Airways, Alitalia, etc.
3. Ebola, and other infectious diseases are not making air travel to the subregion preferred destinations to travel to.
4. If we have money to spend, number one on my list would be hospitals and community health clinics, rural electrification projects, rail transportation, education, and agriculture.
National airlines in Africa are to me, prestigious projects that we should leave to others to service.
