So far Ghanaians have declined to put their faith in Nana. What makes anyone think that 2016 will be any different? No doubt these sentiments will enrage Nana's die hard supporters.

  Let me make it clear to this misguided executive that the present position of the cpp was not as a result of the unpopularity of the party but because it was banned.Even that under a guise which was known to all, but met the requirement of the electoral laws at the time, the CPP won decisively under the PNP led by Hilla Liman.
  
  Again Rawlings when he lifted the ban on the cpp, he used the huge base of the CPP to establish his party and for tactical reasons, to keep the Danquah/Busia tradition at bay the cpp aligned with the ndc whose philosophy of social justice conforms with the cpp.It is therefore no surprise that since Rawlings the leadership of the NDC had been virtually CPP.From Arkaah,Mills to Mahama who all claim to be NKrumaist.
  
  I think you must be in the wrong party if you think that the ndc is an anti Nkrumah party.Your analogies are completely out of sync with reality and runs contrary to the position of the ndc and the historical account.

  For those select by the gods to sacrifice they are made blind, deaf and dumb. That is the state of NPP. If you mention Nana Addo's name you have to be careful, keep quite. They can shut you up but they can't vote for you.

Everybody in Ghana knows that NANA is the strongest guy in NPP who can take you out of power in 2016.Do not think that your article which is full of misleading facts will change our focus.Why won't you advice your party to stop looting, it seems you are stuck in Washington, since you came to America in 1989 you have not gone home,visit home and no body will tell you to support Nana and NPP to win the 2016 election.

  Again because of the coup theCPP was not able to develop like the NDC and KUKURUDU have had the chance to develop since 1992.
  It might be true that some people worshipped nkrumah and people were not bold to come out and developped their talents for leadership that time is gone .all those people are dead and gone. The CPP of now is not leadership crisis , the CPP ofnow is financial crsis because those guys did not steal the peoples money, did not take state assets inthe name of privatisation , did not engage in bussiness whether through fair or foul means. As a result they did not amass wealth that they bequeathed to their children who will use it to sponsor their party. Again the CPP did not promote tribalism so they do not have any region as their banker. If nkrumah was wicked, and being the first president , he could have used all our money to develop the western region for it to become a banker as asante and akyem are bankers for kukurudu and volta region for ndc. It is unfortunate the CPP is dead and so is ghana also dying.
  Nkrumah might be a problem alright but not out of design. The real problem of the CPP is the UP tradition which made sure that aftet the coup the CPPwas disintegratedh beyond salvage and they have succeeded.

  And how convenient is it for you to distort information about Nkrumah?There's nothing to gain because you've no credibility. At no time in our first republican history did any group of people chant "No Nkrumah, No Vote". They didn't have to because Ghana was a one party communist nation. What you're saying is a complete fabrication. I wonder how you find time to gossip and distort the truth when your NDC administration's cluelessness, incompetence and unprecedented corruption are soaring everyday and defying solutions. Just concentrate on the search for solutions because this administration is the worst in our nation's 57 years of sovereignty.

I do not know your background (age, education, etc) but this distorted political history by a PRO of a ruling party in cosmopolitan New York is very unfortunate. I guess you were born in the US or might have spent most of your adult life in the US, otherwise, you would not have made this CPP/NPP analogy.
  
  Yes, Nkrumah was worshiped by his party and perhaps Ghana but he was also genuinely a politician who had ideas, foresight and truly cared about the future development of Ghana, despite his weaknesses. Again, the level of political understanding and democracy in Ghana at that time are totally different from today and one cannot draw any meaningful conclusion/s from such raw instead of comparative analysis. Last but not the least, the current state of CPP is the effect of the prescription of the party from 1966 to the formation of NDC as well as the smaller pro Nkrumahist parties in Ghana. There is an Akan proverb which says, had what caused the vulture to loss its hair on the head happened to the crow, it might not have survived. In other words, if all the Nkrumahists in NDC go back to CPP, NDC will disappear completely without any trace.
