Yes, the NPP is burning but word from the grapevine news is that the 'arsonist-in-chief' is the NDC 'chief priest'. How about that?
The NPP is burning but to predict that the country will be in tatters if the party comes to power is called fear-mongering borne both out of the fear coming out of a jaundiced mind and in complete awe of the power and potential of the NPP.

The writer makes interesting analysis regarding the Alan and Akufo-Addo resignations from the UP family. In this case, Alan supporters' (including GAKE) claim that Alan's resignation was less damaging to the family because he did not form or join another party may hold some water. On that same basis can't Akufo-Addo's supporters also say, he returned to the family and has been working assiduously for the party since its formation?

On the damage Kenndey Agyapong has and is still causing Nana Akufo-Addo, I agree with you. Nana Akufo-Addo's inability to dissociate himself from his outrageous utterances or condemn him such as kill Gas and Ewes in Asante Region did cost Nana Akufo-Addo some votes in 2012 and the current poison allegation could make it difficult for Nana Akufo-Addo to unify the Alan faction after he secures the flagbearership in October.

I am surprised to learn about the alleged disrespect for Asantehene by Nana Akufo-Addo, particularly with regards the Otumfuo led peace event in Kumasi. I assumed it is rather the allegation against Otumfuo by some NPP supporters that President Mahama used Otumfuo to bribe the SC Justices that may be a problem for Nana Akufo-Addo. I never knew that there is the perception that Nana Akufo-Addo shows disrespect to the Otumfuo. So far, I am not convinced that this could cost Nana Akufo-Addo votes in the Asante Region because I am not convinced that the Otumfuo could tell his subjects how to vote and who to vote for. In fact Nana Akufo Addo won the Asante Region massively in 2012 and may increase his share of votes in the region in 2016.

Margaret has raised some important matters for both NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo to ponder over and try and resolve these matters to his advantage before it's too late. It doe not matter who the author is. What matters is, are the issues raised in the article relevant?
