  Why are you bothering us with these Kumawuman issues and dragging the Asantehene into it it. If you have a beef with the chiefs, go to court.

  For the record: Seni Fontom was never a queenmother of Kumawu. However she could have been a queen at Essumja BUT she chose to follow her son Adofoahyee who left Essumja after his failed contest for the throne, which he lost to Nana Gyebi Kankanko. Adofoahyee and his supporters first camped at Sebedia near Kokofu. As Adofoahyee was plotting against Nana Gyebi Kankanko, NANA sent his state executioners to bring Adofoahyee and his followers back to Essumja to be charged wwith treason and to execute them.
  Adofoaahyee and his followers heard this and quickly moved from Sebedia to Adanse Ahensan. They left Ahensaan and settled at Penimase near Kumasi(14 miless). They again left Penimase and settled at Abodom; from Abodom they moved to Tikrom, near Adarko-Gyakye. From Tikrom they moved and settled at Abira for about 3 years.
  At Abira, a case so serious occurred which led to the beheading of one of the immigrants called Opanin Otwee-Su-Agyae. This immigrant had a night of passion with a flapper bethrothed to one of the sub-chiefs of Abira.
  Adofoahyee and the rest of his followers sensed danger and left Abira, passed through Atwea to Dadiease-Tanoso within APEMSO Stool land or jurisdiction. From Dadiease they moved to another site called nowadays as Papaase. Adofoahyee house was situated at the exact spot where Papaase shrine is situated.
  
  Nana Kofi Siaw of Apemso granted stay and protection to these immigrants after they were introduced to the chief by Nana Adomakopim the then Krontihene of Apemso as his kinsmen.
  Maame Seni Fontom died as a private citizen at Apemso. Adofoahyee and his folks from Essumja deemed it fit to give her funeral befitting a queen because she could have been a queen at Essumja if she had not follow Adofoahyee. That time Nana Aboagye was king of Apemso and Adofoahyee and his men borrowed funeral paraphernalia from Apemso palace to decorate the corpse. When time passed and Adofoahyee failed to return the borrowed items, Nana Aboagye demanded their return. Adofoahyee and his men used the occasion to stage a coup d'état. These immigrants killed and maimed The Apemso royals; Nana Aboagye was mortally wounded and later died at Aboofrem where he was receiving herbal medicine for his wounds. These immigrant crowned themselves as rulers of Apemso. They have since been under curse. (To be continued)
