You will not get a lot of respondents and opinions on this subject matter because like you stated, almost every Ghanaian who has never lived and worked outside of Ghana is a beggar. The privileged are all thieves and swindlers. Most of the wealthy live on inheritances. I have to disagree with you on a couple of things, Ghanaian s are darn lazy asses. The average male Ghanaian wants to be a driver or selling perishables under the hot sun (not hard work but stupidity). The average female Ghanaian wants to secure a spot in the market place and sell farm produce The semi-educated wants an office job, so they can watch Twi TV shows and most ignorant Akan movies during work hours...we are simply a failed society, and it would take another Nkrumah or re-Colonization to get us back with the human race, else we will keep racing with humans (white westerners).

There is a place where you can be sure that you would find a representative (MP) from every part of Ghana year round gathered together to deliberate on the future and the current state of this country. Where is that? Parliament house of course. If there is such a place then how should the place and the people there be treated in the scheme of things? What priority should such a house be given in the governance of the country? If there is such a place then what kind of people should we send there and how should we assess their performance?
Parliament must also provide a readily available renovated residence in Sakumono to a newly elected parliamentarian. Accommodation in Accra/Tema is expensive and not every MP-elect may have the money to rent a house as he or she may have exhausted his or her funds running for office.

It can be done as all things are possible. Sometimes people wanted to give me gift from their own will but I refused (in the UK). It is part of the company's policy that gifts are not accepted. If you accept any form of gift it can lead to dismissal. Those at the top should let the employees know about that and they should set achievable targets
