  I am convinced readers in Irmo will get to know your true nature as a fomenter of trouble in Ghana's body politic using Irmo as your base.
  
  What they do not know is that the last time you attempted to run as flagbearer of the NPP, you garnered only one delegate vote from the thousands who voted. He voted for himself.
  
  You act like an intellectual fool and it's about time you are exposed to the people of Irmo.

  Unfortunately, Nana appears to misunderstand the import of his victory. He stated, “I think that talk is by a small minority of people. They do not represent the rank and file of the party.” That is unfortunate. A party whose internal disagreements are settled with guns and cutlasses has real problems with unity.
  
  The above statements are made by you, Arthur Kennedy. Nana Addo appears to misunderstand the import of his victory ? Come on Arthur Kennedy! You deliberately truncated what Nana said in order to twist the meaning to suit your agenda of undermining him. Do you also remember that even Paul Afoko who was attacked said those who wielded cutlasses and weapons to the NPP headquarters were not members of NPP but were NDC hoodlums? So whence come ' a party whose internal disagreements were settled with guns and cutlasses' ? You see how dishonest and untruthful you can be, Arthur Kennedy? Your agenda of discrediting Nana Akuffo Addo, a man who has contributed so much for his party and the country at large to bring about socio-economic development, is in a bad taste. You seem to harbour presidential ambitions in the future so your strategy is to discredit anybody who you see as a threat to the parochial and selfish ambition hoping that people will clamour for you to come and lead NPP as Mr. know all and Mr. Fix all. This approach shows how stupid and childish you can be b/c you think all Ghanaians are stupid as you are. I assure you that just like the certainty of death and taxes are your misguided presidential ambitions which will never ever materialize in your lifetime! Please wise up or else you will vegetate in your 'rat hole' in the US. What contributions have you made for Ghana in its development apart running on the back of NUGS presidency in the early 1980's in order achieve your agenda of running to the greener pastures in Canada and finally to the United States where you keep on making money for your selfish self as a country doctor?

  Excellent Piece. The folk perched on the top branches of the NPP will do well to heed Arthur K's wise words.
  Before anyone gets overly excited we need to remind ourselves that THE NPP SUPER DELEGATES ELECTION HAS NO IMPACT WHATSOEVER IN ENHANCING THE CHANCES OF THE NPP WINNING THE ELECTION IN 2016. These are very sobering thoughts. In fact the main stumbling block to NPP being returned to power remains- Nana Akuffo Addo seeming lack of appeal to most Ghanaians. He has failed on two previous occasions to attract enough votes to make a difference.There is nothing to show that Nana Akuffo Addo has improved his appeal among Ghanaians. I fear that if Nana once again becomes the NPP flag-bearer he will face a much tougher fight than before. His age will this time be an additional millstone around his neck.
  
  Regarding the younger crop of NPP leaders who have been seemingly side lined I will like to remind them that they must not give up.They should just keep a good attitude NEVER GIVE UP and must continue the best that they know how how for their country and their experience,because THEIR TIME WILL COME. THE MEASURE OF A MAN IS BEST SEEN WHEN THEY ARE IN THE VALLEY. ALL GREAT LEADERS HAVE ENDURED AT LEAST ONE MAJOR SETBACK IN THEIR HISTORY BUT REBOUND STRONGER AND WISER THAN BEFORE.THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN HAVING SUCCESS WHEN YOU ARE NOT READY.

  The foregoing supposes without validation that the same people did not vote, and that if they voted for Afoko and Adjepong, then they will automatically vote against Nana. These assumptions are rather simplistic.
  
  2. You argue that it will be undemocratic for the others to concede defeat, thereby belittling the whole notion of democracy as an exercise in futility wherein the ritual of voting, despite a predictable outcome, automatically validates and enhances it. You forget that true democracy also involves accepting the inevitable popular outcome.
  
  3. You erroneously allude to a republican candidate's ideas/philosophy as being responsible for four Republican victories without telling us exactly what that idea was/is and you do not pause to examine the possibility that a concatenation of factors come to play before a victory is secured in an election. Of this latter, protracted nomination process is simply not a factor to victory but a source of defeat.
  I can understand that as a medical doctor, you do not have to reason much because your work consists in copying packaged methods and ideas. However if you reflect deeply and dispassionately over some issues, you can procure a modicum of basic brainwave to participate meaningfully in constructive debate.

An alternative candidate would have put the NPP on a better footing to take on Mahama. An alternative NPP candidate would ensure the continuance of a stable political system.

How best can we help our nation with our knowledge in American political conciousness.Dr Busia once said, "what use is one's education if he cannot help people in his community". Brother Kennedy, if those of us who have had the opportunity to live and experience good politics like the one in America cannot help mother Ghana with our experiences, and knowledge,we better stop the noise we are making and give our brothers at home time to do their best for Ghana.If we cannot help, we dont need to destroy those who are trying.
