This is the first time in the fucken life of Bokor that he is making sense on this platform, especially without a tincture of his usual primitive tribal and partisan footprints.
My only question to Bokor is, how can he expect our foreign missions at several levels to serve the Ghanaian people in their areas of jurisdiction when they themselves are clueless? For an example an Ambassador like Ama Sena Densua in Germany and even the Victor Smith in UK and lots of the Ambassadors who are mostly NDC political party drop outs but not real diplomats. Ohene Agyekum in the US of A is also not an exemption. They can never ever be in a position to deal effectively in fields of juridiction.

Very useful article and Worth reading but no punitive action will be taken as those who should take bold action are the culpits. The sing song now in 21centry is Economic Diplomacy. Our Missions should efectively sale our country and stand readily to help Ghanaians abroad. Establishment of Ghanaians Abroad Council should be encouraged. GAC will work closely with our missions in promotion of Trade and Investment and Tourism.

I really don't know what these deadwoods called embassies are for. Ghana benefits nothing from them except corrupt people sending their cronies to these places. They are waste of resources just like the current political situation in the country. A for wastage and corruption and the mess caused by these deadwoods called embassies, just open the lid and you will be surprised the nonsense they are doing across the globe and not only in the UK. They should be reduced and we save money. They are so expensive to maintain in hard currency. Why keep so many embassies who are doing nothing anyway and the country is suffering to get dollars to fill potholes? It does not make sense.

Most of our foreign missions have over the years been gradually turned into gold mines for the parties in power. As a result there is no check on the staff, especially the head of mission, so long as they can continue contributing generously towards the selfish lifestyle of politicians at home. Once the ambassador and his staff continue sending the dollars, pound sterling, and so on, they are free to do their own thing: unprincipled womanising, corruption, snubbing of Ghanaians, etc. It doesn’t appear though that Bokor is a specialist in this field, otherwise the problem bedevilling our missions abroad need deep analysis than this.
