People like you are the root cause of the real problem.
Burying your head in the sand like the proverbial ostrich is the real problem.
Trying to muzzle people who speak the truth is the real problem.
Not trying think outside the box is the real problem.
Thinking that when you speak the truth is "OUT TO CREATE UNREST!! STIRRING THE POT" is the real problem.
So take all that into consideration and decide for yourself who, in a matter of honesty, is the real stooge of one party or another.
You, in a matter of speaking, are an "enemy of progress".
You seem to be ok with the rut Ghana has been put in by these clueless, "thieving brigade" who call themselves 'leaders' of our country.
You are really an 'ostrich', aren't you?

We need to build that critical mass, and it is basically by propagating and advocating our New Vision and Views. That task we must not shy away from and we must not relent even in the face of fierce opposition.
We must be louder than the charlatans holding the field, holding the people at ransom in a thraldom of mental obscurantism and backwardness. They deserve no respect whatsoever, and none shall be given!
In the first par. of Part 2 of my Intellectual Bankruptcy in Ghana: The Need for a Radical Intellectual Vanguard, which should have been posted yesterday had I managed to complete proof-reading it, I wrote:
"The issues that need changing, which everybody is aware of, of course, become the fodder for the politicians to use to bamboozle the expectant public, with extravagant promises but no realistic blueprints as to how they’d secure those changes. Something must be critically amiss, and we deserve to ask a number of questions and find answers to them why it is so."
So posed some few questions out of the many that needed to be asked and answered.
You don't need to be a Marimba Ani nor a Chomsky in order to know that the rhetorical ethics of our politicians is not much better, no less insincere, than that of the
exploitative White Man.

Mr Kwarteng has made the fatal mistake of actually speaking the truth! Our politicians are not honest in speechifying, preaching, accounting,or delivering.Their public pronouncements bear no relation to their private view of swindling. They do not encourage openess and so the people are obliged to put up with poverty, and squalor.Whereas Bill Gates doles out $50 million to fight Ebola, the "Ingenious" African politician is finding a way of siphoning out $100 million.Mr Kwarteng has unveiled the crassness and absurdities of an African "Glutton" politician.

The problem we have in Africa is that our leaders are selfish and too greedy. They are also wicked and do not really care for the unfortunate and the underprivileged poor. A day will come again when the real revolution will happen and change this course.Change will certainly occur .Nothing lasts forever, right?

Good work Francis for the originality and brilliance inherent in your piece. Your near treatise on 'The politics of death' did the trick. I nearly got lost beyond your anecdote but got home bearing in mind the man Kwarteng before driving home his point would want to pick up some 'strangers.' I cannot end without saying more of such original thoughts are needed to set Ghanaians and Africans thinking. Good day, friend.
