  Dr.Kwame Edusei was appointed Ghan a's Ambassador to the U.S by the NPP government under Kufuor.It turned out the main purpose for his appointment was to finalize a business deal involving Kufuor,the NPP mafia,the EO Group and the oil company - Kosmos of Texas. Ghana's data collected from the days of Nkrumah,and worth millions of dollars,were handed over to Kosmos.This enabled the oil company to "discover" oil along the coast of Western Region.
  
  The EO Group,acting as a proxy for Kufuor and the NPP mafia - with Mpiani as the consigliere - crafted the contract with Kosmos(with the help of American lawyers),so as to hide their 3.5% share. Ultimately,the NPP bosses and the EO Group came to reap close to $1billion.
  
  And with the NDC poised to win the second round of the presidential election in 2008,the EO Group mysteriously transferred their "headquarters" - a pig farm near Accra - to the Cayman Islands on December 31,2008,to prevent the new Atta-Mills' administration from freezing their ill-gotten gains.
  
  With the booty hidden in the U.S and Cayman Islands,the EO Group waited patiently - to let things cool down, before re-entering the Ghanaian scene. Meanwhile,the NDC government, which earlier took the case to court in Accra,abruptly dropped it. Then,after six years of hiding in Houston,Kwame Edusei and cohort return to Ghana without fear of prosecution - to dish out some few thousands of GH cedis(peanuts) to chiefs in the Western Region and other regions ,and are hailed as the new "philanthropists" on the block - aside from Bill Gates and others.
  
  Chiefs in the Western Region who hounded Egya Atta for a lion's share of the dirty gold,are now kissing Edusei(the very public official who,together with Kufuor, masterminded the biggest rip-off in Ghana's history),from head to toe.How dumb some of our people - including corrupt politicians and some chiefs are!
  
  If this naked venality had taken place in countries with strong institutions and the rule of law,Kufuor and most of the NPP honchos would be in jail by now.
  
  But this is Ghana/Africa,where big men do not go to jail - only little people do. This shows that money(ill-gotten) TALKS AND B.S WALKS.

  Managers of Ghanaweb,listen! By removing the comments which exposed the malpractices of Dr Edusei and Owusu in the KOSMOS oil deal you have really covered up and directly oy indirectly confirmed all the accusations.
