Unlike the SARPONGESE which was put up here on Ghanaweb yesterday by one wannabe writer, 'Sarpongkyi Injustice', this article is what someone will call,'THE REAL DEAL'.
It was perfectly written and I really enjoyed every bit of it. It is an intellectual piece unlike the primitive one put here by SARPONKYI INJUSTICE, TEXAS WATCHMAN.
This author actually focused on every bit of what happened to that Girl and what we should all expect from Journalism. It also addressed the public expectation and more importantly victimization of individuals by certain nonprofessionals who claim to be journalist.
But I hope after reading this piece by Daniel Korang, SARPONGKYI THE TEXAS WATCHMAN will learn how to avoid 'insults' or the use of vulgar language in his primitive articles loaded with grammatical bullets.

Kola, put your peeves against Sarpong aside and engage in a healthy and purposeful debate about assaults on journalists......the writer has indeed put forth reasonable and sound arguments and for that I highly commend him; however, he inexplicably neglected to mention that the preponderance of news websites, radio stations, newspapers, magazines and TV stations, was invariably bound to have in its wake elements who see engaging in sleaze and sensationalism as the only path to fame, wealth and riches....that is the harsh reality of a thriving democracy.
And there is absolutely nothing the Media Commission can do to stem this trend...it is as old as history.....come to think of it, I believe the courts are the only effective instruments to stop an aggressive press by levying heavy fines on recalcitrant media organizations whose reporters deviate from basic rules...and punishing members of the public who find it "amusing" to pummel reporters...
