  Depiction of the 'circus entertainment' the common people of this country are being treated to!
  Amazingly,the "useful idiots" have been mesmerized into believing that their 'salvation' is just around the corner,if only they can hold the fort,and endure the pain a little longer!
  My worry though is whether the "third force" is ready and prepared to seize the historic opportunity that has been presented to it,bearing in mind the "unholy alliances" some dubious, treacherous and vociferous members of the Nkrumahist fraternity have reached with the two dominant political groupings? At times, I have wondered if some of us who are worried about the political retrogression we are witnessing,would not be better off rallying behind the "simple", but authentic political program of the ever-exhuberant Maame Akua Donkor;rather than put our trust in these known charlatans,masquerading as Nkrumahists!

  I want us to try another political force to see if it could outperform the two major parties. This statement of yours caught my attention nonetheless:

  The people of China believe in their system by tweaking and sustaining it along a long and arduous road and has finally arrived with its citizens being the toast of the west and east. The people of Russia even under the devil incarnate Putin continue to love and carve out a system of their liking. What is it that Ghanaians want; true democracy or delusional state of floating democracy? What Americans do, good or bad, has kept them in an enviable position of being the developed, industrialized and financial country of the world. Love it or hate it Americans chose to build a system that suits them just fine. Ghana, with all it's educated ignorant majority of politicians will never lead us anywhere anytime soon because they never understood democratic values, principles, best practices and procedures and the requisite institutions to make it succeed

  Let's go the Chinese way! NO STANDING PARLIAMENT.....delegates from ALL regions come EVERY 2Yrs.together to DELIBERATE on the development programme and make ADJUSTMENTS! After 2 or 3 months as STIPULATED,they DISPERSE to their VARIOUS jobs!! For the 3 months, they get SITTING ALLOWANCES (to be agreed on by all)!
  A more effective way to handle the Economy and the Nation!! A sort-of KN "one-party democracy"...and like Singapore, which we OFTEN CITE as an example!!

  NPP/NDC, are a cause of unmitigated disappointment and vexation.A complete bunch of liars.Their version of democracy is a lot of nonsense.We need a radical "Third Force Party" to amend our deplorable state of affairs.The only thing Ghanaian politicians know about economic rules is that there are no economic rules for the poor.What a wonderful attempt by Mr Kwarteng in showing us the numerous flaws in our "half baked" democracy.I admire your candour.

  Religion is never the cause of man's inhumanity to man. Some people find it convenient to use religion as a tool of oppression and exploitation but it's simplistic and disingenuous to blame the tool instead of the perpetrator. People use money to perpetrate all kinds of crime but does that necessarily make money evil? It's said that it's the love of money that is the root of evil. Money is good depending on the user.
  What's wrong with the Golden Rule that almost every religion teaches? Christianity like any other religion is a way of life and its practice varies from person to person . I'm not sure you're thinking all professional footballers have the same skills, same technical ability, same stamina and endurance, etc. It's the same with religious adherents. There are numerous stars in the sky above but they don't have the same brilliance.
  Religion can be used as a double edged sword depending on who wields the sword. Since none of us is imperfect there's always room for improvement and that includes you, my brother.
  The nation does well when everybody is doing well. Greed, selfishness and corruption are bed fellows and when politicians pursue this shady path it only results in under-development and widespread poverty. The poor state of the economy and the hardships imposed on the people is not the fault of democracy but greedy and wicked politicians. Some countries use democracy in varying degrees to enhance the lives of their people. Democracy has also been used as a tool of oppression and suppression by politicians. Our democracy is far from being perfect. We have a long way to go.
