Until he decides to quit Akuffo Addo will continue to win NPP primaries but continue to lose the general election.

It is impossible to see how Nana can win third time round given that his popularity in the wider Ghanaian population has sank further.Even a 100% vote of support by the NPP's Party faithful would not be sufficient to get him elected.HEREIN LIES THE DILEMMA FACING THE NPP. NANA AKUFFO ADDO HAS WITHOUT A DOUBT SOLID SUPPORT WITHIN THE NPP BUT HISTORY SHOWS THAT THIS ALONE IS NEVER ENOUGH TO WIN AN ELECTION.IT IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT TO CHOOSE SOMEONE WHO IS MORE LIKELY TO GARNER VOTES OUTSIDE THE NPP. IN FACT IT CAN BE ARGUED THAT NANA AKUFFO ADDO'S PERSONA PUTS OF A LOT OF POTENTIAL GHANAIAN VOTERS. If the NPP loses the election in 2016 as a result of Nana becoming flag bearer for the party then we can expect his supporters to run amoke burning destroying and killing in their path. Expect chaos on a grand scale which will then give foreign predator powers an opportunity to intervene on one side or other in order to shape events in Ghana to allow them to loot and strip Ghana bare.
