Maybe somebody needs to explain what a good Samaritan would have done to Ademola. With the spate of accidents on our roads and people being killed daily by vehicular accidents by careless and drunk drivers, Ademola if he really thought the driver almost killed him as he "boomed" on the radio should have reported the accident to the Police not knowing if this driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
A good Samaritan would not have impounded a truck filled with church instruments for Sunday service and demanded GHc2000 before releasing a truck to this driver who is not even the owner of the truck.
These Politicians like Ademola, Kofi Jumah and their likes are power drunk and fools and have no business holding ppolitical posts.

I am a nobody but if Coker had told me to bring my Dl for him to make a photocopy, and impound my vehicle, those who personally know me would have known the outcome. Apart from the police and military police, nobody, and I mean nobody, not even the president can physically impound my vehicle.
There was a similar stupid incident when a minister or MP during Kuffour's admn impounded a taxi at Suhum and took it Central region and he was not fired. If this should happen to me, I can prove that there is political power in Ghana and there are people like Karikari who can also go berserk if my rights are impugn on. What kind of stupidity goes on in Ghana. Yet we have not heard any reprimand from Asiedu Nketia, Papa Jerry and others. If Addo Akuffo did that, there will be "cofee in Brazil from KOLA London, my nephew Ansah and K. Boateng.

Then at Osu a few years later, he and his guards overturned a taxi while the poor driver was still stuck in it.
Yes, these stupid things have been happening in Ghana because nobody has stood up to them. There is no way I will ever surrender my vehicle to any of those idiots no matter who he is, if I have not done anything wrong!

Ghanaian society as presently constituted, is chock-full of sycophants, enablers, hero-worshippers and asskissers who ladle globs of praises on these buffoons with the clear intention of earning some sort of compensation in the form of cash handouts....therein lies the problem...their contempt and disdain for the laws of the nations breath-taking as they are, stem from society's enthusiastic embrace.....shun them, and they will act very differently.
Ade, Jumah, Lauretta and the others who brazenly act as if the very survival of society hinges on their largess, are telltale signs of how inept and broken our institutions are. Who is going to hold them accountable is the question that dominates debates and conversations about corruption in Ghana.
The very institutions trusted with enforcing rules and regulations very often turn a blind eye to these egregious acts of looting and foul conduct.
Ghanaian politicians of all
hues are arrogant, self-inflated egoists and dumb-bells. There are no guarantees that they would fundamentally alter their behavior for the public good even if the law was to come down hard on them for abusing the system...it is in their DNA.
