  I am very sorry but with is great loopholes in the constitution, no balance of power(eg MP's The Legislature, serving in the Executive branch) thus making clean legal political thievery get away.My brother it doesn't matter who is in power we will continue to suffer. It's sad but that's the reality. No government wants oversight or accountability in Ghana. They want want the masses to be illiterates so they can manipulate and steal. Until we have a very strong constitution reform,long term national development plan and independent oversight institutions this unnecesary struggle will continue.

  1992 constitution is nothing but a document that gave JJ Rawlings the power to continue his military style authoritarian dictatorship government. JAK found it was a sweet way to consolidate power and failed to deliver his campaign promise to decentralize government. Neither JDM or whoever NPP brings to power has the intention to reform or make it right for Ghanaians to make decisions that affect their lives. If Ghanaians want a real reform, rule of law, democratic governance and economic freedom, they have to throw the current constitution in the toilet where it belongs. It is worth less than toilet paper.
