This road kills, the N1 has killed, this road will kill again!

  There needs to be more overhead walk ways built at vantage points along the length of the highway from Mallam to Tetteh Quarshie Circle.
  
  Having said that, I will also advise my fellow city folks to be a little bit more streetwise or street savvy if they value their lives. All one needs is a little bit of common sense. A lot of pedestrians foolishly ignore these overhead walk ways and choose to cross the highway where there are no cross walks or traffic lights to help them.
  I have seen that every single time I had used the N1.
  
  Some of them think they have the "right" to cross even when some of these speeding drivers are whizzing by. That's a very dangerous thing to do.
  
  So I think we all as users and owners of this very busy highway should share the blame for the countless accidents on the N1.... drivers, pedestrians, traders, hawkers and the local government.
  
  Still, the biggest share of the responsibility rests on the pedestrian. It's your life... so value it... protect yourself and act smart by utilizing the overhead walkways even if you have to walk some distance to get to one.
  
  Wherever you are going, that place will still be there even if you are late. It's better being late than being "the late mr., mrs, or miss so and so".

  The drivers are rational human beings so they should do the correct things on the roads including N1. They are impatient and they are not using their heads. They overspeed

  What happened to the governmen's decision to build more walkovers on that road? There is another looming problem on the awoshie- pokuase road.......two kids were killed there by a speeding vehicle
