  This is a nice analytical and thoughtful write up by an intelligent person. Alan Kyeremanting has finally nailed his political coffin in Ghana by crushing out with a humiliating defeat. I have no sympathy for him because he not only went against common sense and reason but also human decorum and propriety. Far thee well, Alan's political career if he ever had one.

  YES, ALLAN'S ANALOGY WAS WRONG. WHEN IT COMES TO NPP AFFAIRS, ALLAN DOES NOT COMPARE WITH NANA ADDO AT ALL. THEREFORE A CONTEST BETWEEN THEM DOES NOT EQUAL A MATCH BETWEEN KOTOKO AND HEARTS. THESE TWO TEAMS ARE ALMOST EQUALLY MATCHED MOST OF THE TIME HENCE THE HOT RIVALRY BETWEEN THEM. THE SAME CANNOT BE SAID ABOUT ALLAN AND NANA. IT MAY RATHER BE LIKE A KOTOKO VERSUS FANKOBAA MATCH. JUST LOOK AT THE VOTES WON BY EACH OF THEM - 117,000 AGAINST 5,000.

  I think Gabby has got it all wrong. In the first place Hearts and Kotoko are all Ghanaian clubs and they produce players to the national teams which we all support. Secondly, myself and brother are at the opposite sides but after the match we go home as brothers after 'bruising' ourselves before the match. So the bitterness between supporters of Kotoko and Hearts is not eternal? Unless there is a hidden agenda to still harbour inner feelings against Alan and consequently revive what happened in 2008 leading to Alan's unfortunate resignation. It must be noted that 144,000 is not 25 million Ghanaians and we should resist any attempt to still stoke the bitterness fire that charecterised the pre-congress period. This should not come from someone so close to NANA. Lets beware of any divisionist tactics. Alan has a constituency like any leading person in the party and any attempt to start such myopic interpretations would lead us to doom once again.

  MrOtchere you're very close to nana addo, use that contact to bridge that missing link between nana and alan.It's allege you and others hijarked nana's campaign resources causing some of the acrimony in the party today.Peolpe like the chairman and his henchmen such as the secretary,the second vice chair and the treasurer are up to something please don't give them the excuse to do what would benefit us all.Remember to channel the campaign resourcses through the party structures and at the end of the day they account to all of us. United we stand divided we fall!

Alan had earlier, prior to making the analogy you refer to, stated that the NPP encourages competition and at the end cooperation. This clearly fits into the analogy that hearts and kotoko may be engaged in a fierce match yet will cooperate to propel the Black Stars (NPP). Nana Addo found it necessary to mention this assertion of competition and later cooperation by Alan this morning on Peace fm. Pls pls Gabby Nana Addo need new faces around him, new ideas and above all new strategy to win 2016.
