That will not win you vote. I know you hope by this behavior you are going to make Ghana ungovernable. Stop playing checkers on the chessboard. Here you need a better strategy that this. Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe when Comrade Kwesi Pratt was making his submission he made and example of how workers second tier invested in some private companies in South Africa and some countries just got vanished. The states there have an obligation to see to it that workers do not go home empty handed thus have to pay the funds and the interest to them at a cost to the state.
I am of the view that no person in his right sense will send a two years old child to go and bring him or her a coal pot with burning coal in it.
We all saw what happened to the investment workers in U.S.and Western Europe made in their house ownership ventures. They became a failure with them loosing their homes and still paying mortgages. The U.S. and Western European governments can team up with swindlers to swindle workers of their monies, however that should be a warning to governments elsewhere and not in the west where the worker is regarded just as a talking tool.

Referencing your assertion below:
"Ghanaians have come astronomically far enough away from Nkrumah's faux-socialist First Republic, when the infamously extortionate and thoroughgoing corrupt regime of the so-called Convention People's Party (CPP) effectively controlled the destiny of both the Ghanaian public and civil servant, to be taken so cheaply for granted."
The debate of whether the Ghanaian Pension Scheme would do better under Government than under Private Enterprise Management has nothing to do with CPP and Kwesi Pratt's membership in that Party.
Your double-standards know no bounds!!
Why don't you reject the US Government control and management of the Social Security Funds that you are poised to enjoy, yourself, soon, in that country, and use your eloquence to add to the calls by the Conservatives of that Nation to fully privatize that program?
In the USA of all Nations, where Capitalism is supposed to be most grounded, similar debate has been going on for a while and the support for continued Government Management of their Social Security remains overwhelming.
That is because of the collapse of many Pension Plans that private Companies Managed for Millions of workers. Many of these workers lost hundreds of thousands of Dollars of life-time Pension investment due to mismanagement by the Private companies.
Now, even with the general poor performance of the USA Economy, the Social Security still thrives and remains the only hope for all those that lost in the Privately Managed Pension Schemes.
Check around in Europe and you would find similar overwhelming Public support for the Government Management of similar schemes in almost all the Countries there.
The pragmatic reality is that there are certain programs that are better secured under Government Management than under Private Enterprise. And such are the Pension schemes most People bank on around the World.
We would be foolish not to make those distinctions and do what is best for ourselves, instead of blindly adopting a purely ideological theory that fails to recognize exceptions to its rules to justify wrong approaches.
You know this to be the truth, Professor. But just so to deal cheap shots at Kwesi Pratt, and CPP, you have resorted to this exhumation of rotten Partisan false allegations to make your porous argument.
You keep eroding any little credibility left in you, Professor. You cannot fool all Ghanaians with your effusive history-distorting propaganda.
I pray more and more Ghanaians would engage themselves in further and wider research to expose your myopic, farcical agenda.
Long Live Ghana!!!
