Mr. Kwesi Pratt, could you remember that Rawlings used the TUC and its workers as a springboard for overthrowing Liman's government fraudulently? Could you also remember that he used to take 'Kenkey' to Legon to demonstrate how the size had shrunk under Liman, and we ended up with the "Rawlings' Chain" in his regime but nobody could talk? And could you remember that Nkrumah used to incite workers to strike against the Whiteman and later on outlawed strikes and said they were unpatriotic in his regime when the economic situation was genuinely difficult for workers?

I don't believe that NPP is behind the present wave of strikes. To my understanding, it is only highlighting the failings and excesses of the government, hopping that it would translate into votes for the party in the next elections. And that is, in fact, a genuine politics. Everybody in Ghana knows that the cost of living under the NDC government is unbearable, and NPP could be seizing the opportunity to convince Ghanaians not to vote for NDC in the next elections. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with highlighting the failings of an incapable government in order to wrestle power from it democratically. NDC is the cause of the strikes because of corruption, over spending, over borrowing and economic mismanagement that brought untold hardship on Ghanaians.

Moreover, the monies collected from workers have virtually disappeared, and that Thomson guy at SSNIT is not to be trusted. He is a vampire, and his brother is the other Thomson that was the CEO at STC, and has been removed this year by its workers for pension funds and other wrongdoings. Until the "Big" Thomson at SSNIT is also removed, the extent of the damage done to workers' pensions in this country will never be known. The monies have been misused under Mr. Thomson and SSNIT is bankrupt.

The only lasting solution to this standoff is to send BNI to SSNIT to investigate and unearth the stinking rot kept in their big cupboards. What they will find will send every Ghanaian into the street calling for "blood to flow". Unfortunately, the government itself seems to have a hand in the malfeasance, and that is a potential impediment that workers would have to face.

We also know that electoral rigging is endemic or ever present, and makes you wonder why no incumbent ever lose/lost elections.

We also know that Efo Acquacyvi Rawlings promulgated the 1992 constitution and subsequently, won the next two polls.

The Burkinabe President, Mr. Blaise Compaore also inaugurated their constitution and some how by magic, won the next two elections as stipulated by the rules.

It's been downhill for Atopa since the demise of the Professor, John Mills but he was the managing things for him right from the inception in 2009.

Go figure, as to why they re-nominated a terminal patient for another term, or why they forced him to jogged on the tarmac to prove to all those doubters that he was fit as a fiddle to contest another term.

We also know that Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has stated in the recent past that once we crossed the finish line of the elections 2016, he's retiring from politics.

At this point, is it any surprise to you that H.E. Atopa is looking beyond 2016 because he can't fix the economy in two years. Lemme translate this French legalese for you in plain English; he's saying heck, I 'm overwhelmed - I simply can't do it.

Creation of consolidated funds is the bane and beginning of corruption in the country, cause it consolidates and requires no accountability or responsibility or transparency.

Now do you understand why Tony Aidoo has to be exiled to Holland with his policy monitoring, evaluation, and overhauling? - They needed to get the controls out of the way in order to plot, scheme, and game the system.

275/216 and nobody can show you the numbers. The constitution must be amended with immediacy to avert further plundering of our meager resources.

They are all crooks, if not; why has the Right To Information bills has been languishing on the shelves for decades?

Do we even need 275 MPs, or 700 Presidential staff, or association of radio stations serial callers to defend the gov't? Why does one person has to make over 6,000 appointments instead of decentralizing the governance dispensation for the populace to elect their own choice of leaders who will be accountable to them and not Accra, whilst lightening the burden/duties/corruption of the President at the same time?

Well, if you think the demise of Mills was mysterious, then have Akufo-Addo explain the mysterious demise of Aliu Mahama. Ahoofe does propaganda for Akufo-addo, but unfortunately for him and Akufo-addo, neither one of them ever makes sense.

The 2016 election is going to give Ghanaians the best opportunity ever to prove voters are wise while testing our principled moral compass.
For now the things that are undeniably true is what president Mahama has done under the mandate given under the constitution approved in the 1992 constitution. Like those actions or dislike them the president and his team has to defend their record. But here is the dilemma the NPP faces; defend all the handiwork of Nana Akufo-Addo in his public and private life something NPP and Akufo-Addo refuse to campaign on. As of date the NPP and surrogates have excelled preaching to Ghana's uneducated who do not know when being sold a bill of goods all for the opportunity for the Akuo-Addo team to get the chance of stealing the free government money he has seen J.J. Rawlings steal, Kufour and his bunch steal and Mahama and his gang may be doing. Elections are not about choosing the best white collar team of thieves Ghana trained through the classroom education system but about ideas, foresight and principled stand through political life. So while NPP surrogates readily talk about Nana Akufo-Addo's educational background they have failed at every turn and opportunity to brag about his time at the Ghana AG department and at the ministry of external /foreign affairs. At the AG's office Akufo-Addo carried water for the NPP but showed himself to be unprincipled looking the other way while Kufour gave away government lands even when he Akufo-Addo saw them to be wrong. Where was his principles or love for country over loyalty to party? It was also under Akufo-Addo passports became drug dealers ticket to moneydom. Every shame Ghana has suffered has come as a result of drug activities in Ghana that gained prominence under Akufo-Addo passports era. It was a time for the free flow of drug money into the Ghanaian economy and represented even unto this day the belief amongst NPP elite that Ghanaians prospered under the NPP than any NDC government. If those who prospered under the 8year NPP Kufour era were engaged in legitimate and serious business ventures they would provide reasons for their perceived hardships of late. Ghana cannot engage in horse trading or a game of tribal chairs. Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Sir John, NPP and the team of Akufo-Addo/Bawumia must ride to victory or defeat on their existing record.
