  Do not waste our eyes and precious time.Those socialists have nothing to offer Ghana.The seed of socialism sowed by Dr. Nkrumah is the undoubted reason the thieves in the public sector cannot survive without stealing from the government.Until Ghana embraces capitalism wholeheartedly,socioeconomic development will elude us.John Mahama and the social democrats do not believe in capitalist institutions like the IMF.They think government should spoon feed the citizens.Hence their enthusiasm and over willingness to promote state-owned enterprises,instead of preaching privatization so the individual can be independent of the government.It is dishonest for them to run to the IMF to be baited by tested and success-guaranteed economic policies which are against their social democratic stance.Hopefully,we live to ascertain if they will have the courage to implement the conditions of the Fund to its logical conclusion.

  sentiment you have just expressed. The fact is, since Akufo-Addo called Mahama election thief, his supporters and NPP supporters in general have not stopped at anything in projecting President Mahama as good for nothing.This posture by the NPP is rather making some of us to be more sympathetic to the President.
  
  If this is the way those who started democracy were practicing it, I don't think their countries would have seen any meaningful development. It is foolhardy to think that democracy means frustrate your opponent to fail for you to be voted into power. Why can't we always end the politicking and concentrate on the nation's development until election year? Is democracy all about political campaigning and elections? Is there any wisdom in a political party electing its flagbearer to start campaigning for an election which is taking place in two years time? This is Ghana for you!
  
  If we don't change our attitude in using almost four years in campaigning for political power, we shall continue to elect people into political offices without seeing any development.Let us learn to give those in power a breathing space to function whilst we find a way in telling the electorates what we can do when given the mandate without necessarily disturbing the peace.

  NPP is and will always be Ashanti/Akyem tribal political party.
