Why do Mahama and Amissah Arthur have to travel out of Ghana at the same time? Are their travel appointments and arrangements not coordinated at the presidency? Look at Mahama's trip to Nigeria last Thursday just to help Jonathan Goodluck to officially open a new stadium. Was that really necessary when his Vice was already out of the country? I have never heard of Obama and Biden or for that reason any US president and his vice travel out of the US at the same time. Do we just do these things to certify the fact that we are still third world people? And this has given rise to Adjaho's display of bravado.

Now, if you (Bokor!) are already aware the it was the CJ and minority leader who discouraged or didn't want Adjaho to swear in the second time, because it is to them constitutionally in order. Why are you not directing you article to the CJ? calling it, "the CJ is democratically and constitutionally wrong for nor swearing in Adjaho."
Besides if Adjaho is in his right sense with a levelled mind as a lawyer, why is he not doing the right thing that is expected of him in his position or capacity as the speaker of parliament?

And these trips are not emergency trips.

When both the speaker and the CJ were not sure as to the true position,it was in their best interest to abstain from performing the ceremony because reading through the authority under the constitution upon which the oath was to be administered one can see the ridiculousness of such an exercise.
The Asare ruling only gave a narrow interpretation of the article living the question of incapacity required under the constitution in order to meet the need for the ceremony.The question is what constitutes incapacity.
The dictionary definition is clear on it,it says a physical or mental inability to do something or to manage one's affairs.Lets ask ourselves whether at anytime recently the president and the vice had been unable to perform their duties as a result of incapacity and you will see the absurdity of the exercise.
