I really have a tough skin to soak up all that comes from those who don't see things eye-to-eye with me, especially those who rashly label me as a paid NDC propagandist. I have explained issues all along to help them know that I have been very much invested in Ghanaian politics for decades now and won't be deterred by their disparaging comments. After all, once I know that knowledge is situated, I really don't care what any "against" person says.
There are characters visiting Ghanaweb just to muddy the waters with insults; and they really toughen me to carry on with what I have chosen to do as a public intellectual commeinting on pertinent issues regarding the challenges facing our country. It is a yeoman's job that I began doing when I was a reporter at the Ghana News Agency in the 1980s and wrote news commentaries on happenings for radio and TV. I haven't changed in hitting hard at what I consider as worth my bother and won't do so just because some people feel uncomfortable when I hit their sacred cows. I cut any way possible and will continue to do so. Those who can;'t take it will do all they can but won't cut me!!

We all have our right as citizens of Ghana to be affiliated to the party of our choice and nobody can take that away from us.
They should continue with the insults whiles we unequivocally digress with the issues.
At the end of the day we will see who wins the heart of the people. Yours is wisdom and I like people with wisdom especially if its blessed with education. Doc press on the throttle hard!!!
Kudos Doc.

Bokor's problems are not the views he expresses here. He has the right, like any of us, to express any views he thinks are worth expressing.
As far as I am concerned, these are Bokor's problems:
1. He talks toooooo much! Anybody who spends all his time scouring the Ghanaian pages searching for something to write on will end up saying inconsequential things. Because he talks too much, he often comments on trifles. But this is a problem he shares with a few others on ghanaweb. I find it strange that they talk so much about happenings in Ghana when they don't even live in the country to see the proper context of the items they write on.
2. Bokor's other problem is that he doesn't even know how to write convincingly about his own views. For a person who parades himself as a PhD holder, I am surprised at the manner in which he expresses his own views. Often, it is this, rather than the views themselves, that attracts insults to him.
As it is, he appeals only to a certain type of reader who thinks he is fair only because they happen to already have the same views.

Teacher on a serious note,I don't get you at all. Who are you to think for somebody who want to communicate with the public about issues he feels affects his people?
He is not in Ghana but, that doesn't extricate him from the affairs of the country. He has his family in Ghana.
If he talks too much what's your problem about that?
What's important is that, does he make sense and he does perfectly make sense.
I don't know if you are really a teacher or an impostor because, I respect teachers and I know very well that a real teacher will not comment in this puerile way.

I wonder why the useless Ewe, Bokor did not say, NPP is behind the actions of the various inhabitants in those areas in Accra who are disturbed about the incompetence of the NDC government pertaining to a constant supply of electric power to the Ghanaian people.
With my 36 years experience in abroad I have experience only 3 times power outage for not more than 3 hours, each time with 3 weeks notice ahead the stipulated date for the repairs.
So it is a wonder that the tribal and partisan Ewe NDC writer did not categorically mention in his article that NPP is behind the actions of the people in Accra towards the bogus NDC governance.
Fact is, Mahama is an ordinary "Resident" and not a "President" and can never be one.

It is good that you guys occasionally tell these cretins that haunt Ghanaweb with their insults and ethnocentric jibes that their efforts are not yielding any deterrent or whatever intended results. Rather, it makes some of us more resolute and determined in confronting these worms and their sick psyche in our midst.
With time on our side, we shall eventually chase them into the worm-woods in which they live. We did it on the Okyeame Forum and we can do it here too.
What should be exercising the minds of these jerks is the content of what was written, the writer's ethnicity, he has got Motor Mouth with 12 cylinders like my good pal Dr Nii Moi Thompson said I had years back, etc. Let these blokes wait until I rev up to the full 12 cylinders!

Everybody has his preference and don't think NPP has a silver bullet to cure the economy of Ghana at a go!!!
We saw it when they went to salons seeking for loans.
Why do you always think if it's not NPP then it isn't right?
I prefer the NDC Party with poverty and dignity than a Party with it's tribal condescending members who have no respect for anybody who is not one of their tribe.
