What a foolish and infantile mentality? You will deny me electricity because an inefficient boss has been sacked to better my suffering? They should try! Instead of waiting to see if the newly selected boss will wash away their already tarnished image, they foolishly want to misbehave.

The real culprits are VRA and Gridco. The second culprit is the government that continue to use power and not pay. This is unacceptable so if there is any blame then ECG a should be the last. Ask the power producer if they can give you a schedule. If they cannot, why blame ECG? Think before you write

It's beyond belief that an individual/group of people working in the larger interest of the nation will seek to hold the citizens to ransom. If this is not a threat to national security, then i don't know what it meant.

The security agencies and employer, Which is the State of Ghana must call the bluff of this guy who made the threat.

Meanwhile, ECG employees must be made in no uncertain terms that the former dismissed MD was not their employer, and anyone found supporting the status quo must be sanctioned.

On a personal note, i suggest most of these state corporations that are a drain on the country should be privatised. When this is done employees cannot just wake up on flimsy excuses to terrorise the nation. In all the Country will be saving enormous amount of money subsidising this hopeless companies which eventually end in the pocket of this criminals.

It's about time the state let go these State agencies and concentrate on providing the infrastructure for them to perform

The sacked Hutton-Mensah is just capitalizing on their low level of intelligence to cover up his disgrace.

I'm surprised the ECG staff cannot see the weakness in the basis for their threat. Why should the ECG staff find the sacking of a non-performing MD as a common cause for their threat?

Given the country's power crisis and the unsatisfactory service of the ECG, any attempt to shut down substations will inevitably ignite public anger, and more worringly, likely to see more substations set on fire.

There was no electricity in their premises to run their machines. And when I asked if they could not install a generator, a whole ECG who is supposed to sell electricity, can you imagine the response I got?
"We have a generator, but when we put it on the customers complain why they don't have power in the same area but we have. So you have to go to one of our sales points to buy your credit".
Do you now the mindset of the people working at ECG?
They know they are not competing with anyone so they can do whatever they want.
Please, Mr President, be bold and sack or get arrested anyone who dares to threaten any substation! They are jokers!
