  We always need to protect our interests against the instruments of external and internal greed.
  
  Let us bring back the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA) to kill the Plant Breeders' Bill.
  
  We may then allow public outry and men and women of conscience to do the rest.
  
  Let us stop this bill from acquiring a status of legal consumation.

  Considering that Ghana has rejected terminator seeds before it behoves the whole country to rise up against the PBB as it is currently worded. It is simply an aberration for a body which has been mandated by the constitution to make laws to protects citizens of the country to pass another law evacuating that power from the said body. It should be noted that 70 per cent of people from where GMOs originated reject them and 90 per cent want them labelled. A word to a wise is enough!

  This Parliament should not sign the PBB into law! They should mindful of our heritage as a nation and should not ignorantly hand us over, lock stock and barrel to foreigners with evil intentions!

  THE PLANT BREEDERS BILL IS A TREAT TO GHANA.
  Why would Ghana accept a bill which would take as back into slavery after its hard earned independence from colonial rule and struggle. The plant breeders bills is not in favor of Ghana nor the African continent but its in favor of multinationals who are not Ghanaians nor africans but the nationals of western countries. why is the parliament of Ghana not putting on its thinking caps and not been patriotic to the motherland of Ghana which is supposed to be the gateway to africa. Ghana won its independence and all other african countries followed.Our opinion leaders must not think of themselves alone its the vote of the individual ghanaian citizen that put them into office therefore the consent of a citizen must be head as well. Ghana must be a head way to say NO to the Plant Breeders Bill for the Rest of the African countries to follow as its happened before from Our Independence till today. this is a pure biological war warfare.
