  Developing an innovation culture in Ghana is the greatest strategic hope for our productive future in this economic region. The biggest obstacle we face in doing this is the cultural lack of value we place on ‘thinking’ and ‘innovation’ compared to the value we place on being ’right’ and defending our point of view.

  Our problems and partisanship started with Nkrumah who divided this country into patriots and traitors. Patriots were those who accepted that he should be president for life, practice communist dictatorship and one party state, and unleashed an anti-Western propaganda using our small country's meager resources to challenge well established centuries old Western countries. They accepted that he could declare himself a prophet and savior of the Blackman yet, tyrannizing his own Black people at home because they have alternative views for the development their country.
  
  Those who have alternative views were called nation wreckers, spies, and agents of imperialism and CIA agents that should be liquidated and imprisoned dead or alive. Could you believe that the opposition members he was tyrannizing at home were the very people who started the struggle for our independence? They employed him and paid for his ticket to come and work as a General Secretary of the group, saving him from the tyranny of unemployment in London. The freedom fighting vanguards were senior civil servants and employees of the state and the struggle was gaining momentum. They therefore needed someone who would work full time; free from official work constrains to propagate the group's message of independence to all the people regularly.
  
  Under their guardianship, Nkrumah used the platform and became the public face of the group. His popularity soared when some people perceived him as the one, or the only one that was fighting for our independence. So when he heard from the lady Secretary of the Governor General, who was later on sacked and became Nkrumah's own secretary after the independence, that Britain was preparing to give us independence, Nkrumah increasingly used militant and unorthodox tactics to annoy the Whiteman and embarrass the group he was representing. He then used the opportunity to break away from the group and formed his own party to slap them from behind in order to take power.
  
  This explains Nkrumah's hatred for the group and did not want them to ever get power in Ghana while he was alive. Maybe, he was afraid of his own ghost. His ardent supporters in Ghana today would like us to believe that Nkrumah initiated and single handedly fought for our independence, and as such, they name every project after him as if we were in a kingdom.

Today South Africans celebrate the passing of Madiba . He said he is no saint Nkrumah was not a saint and as an intellectual welcomed debate , Compare with the bomb throwers

  when you have a hause and rent it or later sell it to someone else,then the rengter or buyer of the place has own something you created,Ghana was own by an empire and some of ist People where sold,now they fought for the freedom of themselfs which was their physical Body when you talk of thinkin got to address which part of the Body that do the thinkin which is the mind.and as it was said by an black American educator when you control ones thinking then you dont Need to worry what he does for from far you can direct ist movement and knwos all what is done by that Person.So a System that took our thought which is through the education we are gettin, forgettin our own African history but takin our european colonial humans as example, The God we were indroduced to just took it that way and never question and as you said give it a thought.The greeks gave europe a new way of thought by changin how Religion was,religion was the blessin for mankind, but in this century same greec came havin a Problem which thier still not yet out of,so you say where are the thinkers of then to get them out,all what those great thinkers brought and help shape the world didnt help to stop greec from goin into crisis.So as a Young Boy comin up inscholl we didnt have Dr Kwame nkruma books to read even at the libraries this in Ghana you can find his books like many great African thinkers which we had bt their books and cntributions where hiden,just cause still the same master want to control our way of thinkin which is now our own first communicable language is new from our so suppose to help us get civilsed,some may be with good Intention but many among see us not humans like them but as animals as in europe some have the thought Africans or humans came from the ape.so we have thinkers as you have mention Dr Nkruma but just as he wasnt allow to let us get it through so are many been oppressd not get out through this Problem we have with Africa.For ist better for them we come askin about Solutions and how to solved our Problems created by them.
