  Strong partisanship started in Ghana when Kwame Nkrumah divided the nation into patriots and traitors. Patriots were those who accepted that he should be president for life, practice communism and one party state, and indulge in Leftist anti-Western propaganda using our country's meager resources to challenge centuries' old, well-established Western countries. They even accepted that he should be a prophet and savior of the Blackman around the world, and yet tyrannize his own Black people at home because they have alternative views for the development of their country.
  
  Those who wanted him to concentrate on the needs of the young nation and tone down his rhetoric to our level were called traitors, nation wreckers, and agents of imperialism and CIA agents that should be liquidated and imprisoned dead or alive. Could you believe that the opposition members he was tyrannizing were the very people who started the struggle for our independence? They employed Nkrumah and paid for his ticket from the UK to come and work as a General Secretary of the group, saving him from the tyranny and indignity of joblessness in London. The independence struggle Vanguards were senior civil servants in the Gold Coast. And as their struggle was gaining momentum and scope of the activities widening, they needed someone to work full time for the group; free from official work constrains to further spread the their message to the people.
  
  Under their responsibility and protection, Nkrumah used the platform to become the public face of the group and his popularity soared. This was because, many people in those days saw him as the person, or the only person that was fighting for our independence. So when he secretly learnt from the Governor General's British female secretary, who was later sacked, that the British were preparing to grant us independence, Nkrumah increasingly used unnecessary militant and unorthodox tactics to annoy the Authority - when it was clear that "the wind of change was blowing"- in order to embarrass the group and outfox them. He then used the opportunity to break away from the group, forming his own party and slapping them from behind to take power.
  
  This might explain the strong partisanship between the two groups, and why Nkrumah didn't want the so-called traitors, or more appropriately, the liberation vanguards to ever come to power in his life time. Maybe he was afraid of his own ghost. And despite all what happened, his supporters still want us to believe that he initiated, spearheaded and single handedly fought for our independence, and therefore name every national project after him as if we were in a kingdom.

  Please Ghanaian media houses and journalist investigate and find the content of your story before you put it out there. Stop taking "Soli" from politicians and publishing false stories that brings shame to the good people of the country.

  Rawlings used his diplomatic immunity to get him released to Ghanaian authorities and flown to Accra where he was put in a four star hotel and his hotel bills were paid by Ghanaian Taxpayers instead of putting that cokehead in jail.

Eric Amoateng was a sitting a member of Parliament, passing laws that protects and kills yet he was sniffing and trafficking huge cocaine drums around the world. That NPP won and celebrated elections in his constituency all the time was due to his coke money

  The fact that Mr Benneh was a Ghanaian diplomat serving in Switzerland at the time of his arrest does not make his crime any less serious than Amoateng's as "Whatever" seems to be drumming into our ears. While Mr Amoateng represented a constituency in the Ghana Parliament,Mr Benneh represented ALL of the constituencies of the Republic of Ghana put together in far away Switzerland. When viewed from this perspective , one is susceptible to conclude that Benneh commited a more egregious crime against the people of Ghana than Amoateng.
  I'm sorely aggrieved that we're debasing ourselves juxtaposing two crimes and debating their merits and demerits. It's extremely difficult to make a pick for pardon between the two on account of its lesser degree of culpability since both made it to the international news stands and did irremediable damage to our nation's reputation both home and abroad. Let's not politicize issues like these because it's all about Ghana, not NDC or NPP.

  Let's talk about raising money to build the state of the art medical center. Let's worrying about better research education and show to sustain our economy, not some stupid Nayele good for nothing girl.

  When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. While I see no redeeming qualities between card carrying members of the NDC and or the NPP it is almost always comical to see members of a supposed party of Ghana's intellectuals, the NPP. try desperately to even scores with the NDC.
  The NPP cannot name one NDC MP who has been apprehended by a foreign government agency and served jail time for drug possession assuming foreign government play the role of honest brokers in Ghana's drug gotcha finger pointing games. You can do better next time but you must try harder because there are no twisted historical facts to aid you in your search as has been the case of Nkrumah against your low intelligence heroes.

Your lis and misinformation cannot be used to wrongly portray Akufo-Addo's political opponents while attempting to minimize the damage of Amoateng's drug trafficking to the NPP.
