  The tribal Bokor has in a nutshell written nothing new, it's all dead News, even a kindergarten child like Francis Kwarteng has ever heard Bokor's Story before.
  
  The hypocrite, tribal and partisan Bokor is only not comfortable with the idea of the NDC Party holding the congress in Kumasi. And that's why Bokor indirectly made the following statement in his very first paragraph. And I Quote. "The Congress will take place at a critical time in the history of the party, situated within the context of the huge problems facing the government. Never has the party been pushed to the wall as is the situation now. Although the government is doing its best, that best seems to be the enemy of the good that the citizens don’t see happening!! That is why this Kumasi Congress is expected to yield results to prove that the party is still formidable and can remain the hinge for governance."
  
  A crystal clear fact and reason why Bokor was pushed to compose his article with the heading "The NDC Congress in Kumasi: My take"

  Let me give that Bokor Haram a useful project to write about:

  How can a party that claims to be social democrats, a mass peoples party, be so scared of its supporters that only an easy-to-buy handful delegates (about 2000) are huddled together to elect its top executives? Which party is elitist now, the NDC that chooses its executives by only a handful of 2000 delegates or the NPP that chose its executives with 141, 000 delegates?
  
  1) Why is the NDC afraid of its masses, the so-called foot soldiers?
  
  2) Discuss: The NDC is ran by a clique; a party where one has to bribe and pay to play.
  
  If the roles were reversed and it was the NPP that is electing its executives by a handful of influence peddlers and rent-seekers, I bet you this same Bokor Haram will have been all over the place ranting and bleating like a high wired goat. He is blind to the obvious because it is the NDC. Intellectually bankrupt, I dare say, is Bokor Haram.

  I don't want to get into any debate here but just to remind the author of this article to check his facts well,Huudu Yahaya was the first General Secretary of the party and at the same time the late Vincent Asise was also a Press Secretary, a position that was later scrapped,Huudu Yahaya didn't take over from Vincent Asise.

  From the flanks, we see Alhaji Huudu Yahaya too. An erudite and self-composed politician, he has also played many parts in sustaining the PNDC and the NDC. He was once the General Secretary of the party, working with the late Vincent Assise at the top of the NDC administrative hierarchy. Huudu is affable and very intelligent; but he seems to have outlived his usefulness too, given the changed times in which we are today. What new things does he hope to bring to the table?

  141,000 delegates voted at all polling stations and constituencies to elect the NPP national executives and flagbearer. Compare that to roughly 1200 delegates going to huddle in Kumasi to elect NDC national executives.
  
  Hint: Given the huge influence of money and corruption in our politics, which party is more prone to manipulation by a few well-heeled individuals?

  You cannot threaten people commenting thus speaking their mind on whatever article you write, if you are clever enough and not that conservative or autocratic, you have to know that under the article you post, there is a space created for people to comment. And that is the essence of such a platform. I think you did journalism before in Ghana, you said! You ought to know better.

  Let the among the lot win. Every one of them is a good corrupt politician. They look good and eloquent and enthusiastic to win a position of power today but after awhile when they have become full they become just like everyone else- rusty, mean and greedy. Let them fight among themselves. Most of them have nothing to show as self made men maybe. They have all become what they are through one means and that is politics and milking Ghana. Rawlings during his AFRC- Junta killed all presumed corrupt politicians and even confiscated their properties and today everyone of Rawlings's groomed politicians have milked Ghana just more than those he accused. So for me NDC, cannot turn the economies of the country around. My take.
