  Effective institutions do not come by happenstance they exist because of planning, implementation, operational best practices and procedures and above all a majority of dedicated staff willing to ensure success.
  Why then have every institution of state been a miserable failure in Ghana? It all starts with our representatives in Parliament who are afraid of their own shadow because of misdeeds, loyalty to tribe and political party and the eagerness to sell Ghana to the highest bidder if there's a way to get their cut without the voting public feeling the effects of living under modern day slave masters. Ghana's Armed forces are tasked with defending the nation against all foreign enemies; they must not be allowed anywhere near internal security. Ghana police and BNI are tasked with the health, internal safety and security of the nations. How is the police and BNI supposed to be effective when members of the Armed forces run rough shots around the nation without retribution? Are there hot line telephone numbers that can be called by concerned citizens to report hazards or non-operational, non functioning street lights etc? We simply cannot run a successful nation with a civilian government that is afraid to put the Armed forces in their barracks and or is not willing to deduct monetary damages from their budget when they misbehave like the bloated spoiled brats they are. Ghana police is corrupt and ineffective because they've come to accept their second class role. The travelling public are only there to supplement the income of our police while the national government goes out of its way to appease the men with big guns in the Armed forces.
