  I believe that the 3-5-2 is worth a try. I feel that Baba and Afful can be wingbacks. Maybe Afful might get replaced by Amartey at some point. I think that Boye, Mensah and Awal will be able to handle things in the back. The three central midfielders will be Wakasso, Badu and Dede. Up front looks like Gyan and Jordan. Jordan could be pulled quickly if Accam or Otoo show something. We shall see.

  You'll come back home early. The players are not good enough. It's just an average team by all standards. I doubt if Ghana will qualify from the group stages.

  4-3-3 formation belongs to this Czech.He plays this with no eye on defense-an all attacking game.
  
  His mentality is,let's see who can score more goals.But in a tournament,it's the defense that wins the war so caution must be on our side in choosing which formation that best fits the crop of players available.At this moment,we do not have qny top world class player,hence collectivity should in the core of playing modes.

  I think Boye and Afful's performance during the last World cup showed that we can't solely rely on these 2 players to protect our porous defence. On one hand, Boye tends to be stylish lifting both legs up in the air in an attempt to clear balls even if it is not necessary. In the process, he loses balance and gives the advantage to our opponents. Afful gets nervous when pressure is mounted by our adversaries making him lose his cool and tactical approach to the game. The key to Ghana winning will depend on how flexible the mid-fielders are going forward to attack and getting back in a timely manner to defend. The Mid-fielders have to position themselves flexibly to help the defenders whenever necessary. Ghana could have beaten Germany and Portugal if we had played with determination as a TEAM ( mental fatigue syndrome set in). Grant's job is to make sure the players have the mental fortitude and discipline to finish the matches with ardent zeal and Will to win all matches.

  There is no way 3-5-2 can work in Ghana with Boye and Mensah in defence , We dont have that Calibre of defenders to play this way , the only option to me as a coach for Ghana is 4 in defence and the rest .
