If you truly have your party at heart, this writing would have been taking to the party not in the media. Don't tell me they wouldn't listen because you seems to be closer to the gen sec. Help the party genuinely and it will clearly show and stop this pull him down attitude.

They have a lot to learn from NDC if it comes to elections.Nana Addo won in only 2 regions in 2008 and 2012,they also lost the majority in parliament yet they still believe that the verdict was stolen.They must first be honest to themselves.The fact that NPP did not change the leadership is in itself places a stumble block before them.I don't see how NPP will use failed elections petitioners to contest 2016 presidential elections.I wish them good luck but it's not going to be easy at all.Thank you.

My heart bleeds whenever I look at how the greatest and Africa's most vibrant democratic party has reduced to a mere propagandist, visionless, and violent political party.I find it difficult to figure out how and why these things are happening to NPP. But I can only guess of some persons like the Ashanti regional chairman and the likes, who have taken leadership positions in our party to settle scores with business adversaries who have strong connections in the NDC.Others too like Dr Amoako Tuffour,Appiah Menka and associates,I believe have entrenched themslves to Nana Addo's candidature for their selfish goals,that,they nomore value their positions as ELDERS of the party.Then what else do you think what used to be the greatest political party in Africa would reduced to? I'm really worried for NPP.

For ones I agree with your assessment, although your language could be better. There is no country anywhere in the democratic world that registers up to 45% of its eligible electorate. Way back in 2010, Afari Djan himself said that the Electoral register of the EC is over-bloated and not fit for purpose. Yet the NPP doesn't seem to bother about it. People are only thinking about phantom positions they would hold in a future government. "Wonndae a woso dae?"

I have recently been testing a very simple Access database programme that can easily clean up the EC's register within two months, working all alone by myself. Where are the NPP technical people?

The election of NDAMO's Kofi Portuphy as NDC Chairman should have set alarm bells ringing in the NPP, but obviously they are still sleeping on the job.

Harping on corruption won't cut it, not in the rural areas, where Mahama's bogus community secondary schools are already being hailed, even if there are no teachers for them and if they find any, no books or chalk!

Apart from the recalcitrant NDC, the NPP,the other political parties and some civil organizations have all called on the EC to clean up the voters register but the calls have fallen on the EC's deaf ears. The voters register is bloated with "ghost names" and its credibility is in doubt but the EC and the NDC are challenging the NPP to prove it or shut up. In a country that has no proper citizens identification system in place and where the deaths are generally not registered, it does not take rocket science mastery to know that a document like our voters register is fraught with many irregularities and discrepancies. It's only bone-heads and those who have more to gain than lose from the bloated register who will resist the clean-up call. Faced with this snub from the EC and NDC what do you suggest the NPP should do to resolve the stalemate that is potentially disastrous for the nation? This is what we need to be discussing if we want to avoid a re-visit of the 2012 election dispute. It's not so much about the NPP avoiding another electoral defeat but the civil unrest that may destabilize the nation if we choose to bury our heads in the sand. Matter of fact this is even the wrong forum for such a discussion. Katakyie and all other NPP"lovers" should forward all concerns and suggestions to the NPP head office for discussion. A stitch in time may save nine. The nation may not be two-time lucky in 2016.

The election is two years away and you expect to lay down your plans to your enemy to arm them before D-Day? Remember the NDC as the ruling government has the power and capacity to salvage itself from any leaked NPP information during these barren times of strategizing and arming each other for the big marathon ahead. So you believe going around and giving out gifts and donations is what wins votes from the floaters? Man, hold your oats for beneath every move our leaders make is a hidden reason well thought about. If you have any meaningful recommendation, there is a proper channel to go about. You sound more like you are interested to be heard and able but sorry, to me personally, you more of a pussy trying to sell what felled an able politician not so long ago.
