  As a supporter of IMANI, we find this Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe's piece full of "smoking mirrors" fastened to echo-laden, super-loud voices a tad too caustic and distorted for the Hall of Ghana Public Discourse!
  
  ITEM: Our sense is, if we support IMANI in any way, and are strongly interested in their success to boot, this entire piece should be seen as a bit of a dis-service to IMANI. Why? Because, with growing accusations of partisanship coming from all manner of corners against this non-partisan Think Tank, we probably ought to allow IMANI deeds to speak for themselves.
  
  After all, unlike many organizations articulated to the public interest, a non-profit, non-partisan, stakeholder ought to be allowed to speak softly and carry a big stick.
  
  Then, reflective supporters could simply, directly, civilly, voice their support for IMANI deeds at opportune times, when they occur.
