  the odumase faction are royals and cannot be disputed but what the problem is is that they can;\'t ascend the throne on that basis because of an ancient ruling against them. otumfuo osei kwadwo aka oseikumaa aka okoawia was the most warlike of all the kings.he was the 4th king after osei tutu,opoku ware and kusi obuodum who was forced to abdicate because he was not warlike enough. okoawia ruled for 14yrs and fought 15 successful battles the then chief of kumawu could not stand his grounds in battle and fled in battle so okoawia with an oath barred him and his descendants from ascending the koduah stool. the odumasis have to plead for the current Asantehene to overturn it which is also an impossibility. odumasis should rather blame their coward ancestor. readers should get these facts clear b4 they post any comments this was in 1773

  Don't get elated about the turn of events in your beloved Kumawu. Using the police to arrest and detain innocent citizens of Kumawu isn't the right path to achieve peace.

  You and I know that in every civilized society, leaders are nominated or voted to power by following laid down rules and regulations and/or customary practices. Ghana and for that matter Kumawu is no exception.
  Upon the demise of Barima Asumadu Sakyi, as custom demands, seven (7) royals presented their drinks to Kumawuhemaa Nana Serwaa Amponsaa to ascend the throne. Why did they present the drinks through their various representatives to Kumawuhemaa? Why did they not present the drinks to either Akwamuhene, Kontihene or Aduanahene? The answer is simple : By Asante custom and practice, OHEMAA/QUEEN HAS THE MANDATE TO NOMINATE A WOULD BE KING/OHENE and present her nominee to Gyaasehene, who in turn present the nominee to The Kingmakers for vetting. The Queen could not and cannot present all the contestants because we can have ONE KING AT A TIME.
  Kumawuhemaa nominated Dr. Yaw Sarfo from Ankaase royal family. (Please note, for readers who are not from Kumawu, Ankaase is a suberb of Kumawu just as Adum, Bantama, Manhyia, Asafo etc. are suberbs of Kumasi. I remember my friend asking me at Tema the other day why your queen has to bring someone from another town, Ankaase, to come and occupy Kumawu stool?) I was prtesent in Kontihene's house when the then Dr. Yaw Sarfo was presented to the kingmakers for vetting by Gyaasehene and all the stakeholders, including Kumawuhemaa.
  Joe Fry, the then Aduanahene and some group of people invoked Otumfour's GREAT OATH that they had something against the then nominee Dr Yaw Sarfo and for that reason he could not ascend the throne.
  The Kingmakers verbalized to the hearing of all gathered that they individually and collectively DID NOT have anything against the nominee but for the invocation of the GREAT OATH of OTUMFOUR, THE ASANTEHENE, they had to postpond the process and refer same to Manhyia, the seat of Asantehene. Those who invoked The Great Oath came prepared and presented sheep as custom demands to the kingmakers. This is how Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II and Asanteman Council became involved in this saga. ( I will ask every person who is interested to know the truth to watch the video which Adofo Rockson refers to)
  
  All the fabricated charges against DOCTOR fell flat in their faces; NONE, NOT EVEN ONE, and was therefore cleared of all the charges.
  Those who tried to exthort money from Kumawuhemaa were exposed and disgraced. Otumfour therefore settled this in a most SENSIBLE AND PEACEFUL manner. If it was the olden days, those people who invoked The Great Oath OF oTUMFOUR COULD HAVE SUFFERED SEVERE QUENCIQUENCIES but Otumfour forgave them and rather admonished them to unite with The Queen to instal the nominee.
  
  A date was set band Dr Yaw Sarfo swear the oath to ascend the paramountcy, going by the name BARIMA SARFO TWENEBOA KODUA, KUMAWUHENE.
  
  Ghana is a land of laws and if you think those nation wreckers can break the law without being punished, then you get it all wrong. Kumawu has ONLY ONE KING, any puppet who will allow himself to be manipulated to break the law is a big fool. If their actions can cause disturbances and be a catalist for disaster, the police have every right to arrest them, PERIOD. That John Fosu, aka Adofo Rockson is hiding behind the internet and spewing venom to incite people to break the laws of the land. If he is man enough, he should come to Kumawu and exhibit his stupidity, he will be arrested too. The secret plat to distabilize The Ankaase dynasty will fail. Over FORTY YEARS have they tried to twart the efforts of the Ankaase royals with LITIGATIONS, from the infamous YEATEASEM ERA. KUMAWUMAN has suffered enough and We The People say NO, NO MORE "MANSOTWEE"/LITIGATIONS.

He lived over 100yrs and was brought as a teen to the palace when prempeh returned from exile and I learnt a lot from him.Please,history cannot be twisted,ok?
