The man is insane. I know of this story and I have met the man myself. He is just a power hungry chief. Plus, he thinks dormaa belongs to him, but it really belongs to the paramount chief of wamfe.

Ghana is just a banana republic!!!

Kofi, I do applaud your intelligent analysis of this case. I do hope that someone will take up this case seriously and let justice prevail. That will send strong signal to our chiefs that they're not above the law; and cannot treat Ghanaians with disrespect and impunity. Neither can they adjudicate over cases by their own standards instead of abiding by the rules of the land. It's a shame that Nana should allow his emotions to get the better of him. He needs to render unqualified apology to Dormaa Hospital and Mr. Effah Yeboah.

The kind we have running around in places like Kumawu and Pekyi # 1 into believing that they can disregard and flout the authority of 'Nananom',and get away with it! This particular story is an aberration,in that the Hospital Administrator, did not go out of his way to ruffle Nana`s feathers. Nana just got carried away on an ego trip;and that is most unfortunate.
I have met Nana, the High Court Judge,in person, on one of his foreign trips outside our shores, and he came across to as an affable gentleman.

This is a classic case of corruption at the highest level and I bet you this judge if you go into his dealings, will be found wanting in many other areas.
In my view, such a person who wants to extort and profit from his own people, should not even qualify to be a chief in a small village.
This is disgraceful and to answer your question, I would say that if this actually happened then this judge should not be working for the public sector and the powers of the judicial council should be brought to bear in the form of a serious sanction as an example to others like him that Ghanaians have rights and he has no right to abuse his position in this way.
