In Africa and Ghana in particular, the citizens are stupid - so stupid they believe they are clever. That's the problem we have. Most Ghanains waist their time and money in churches while their politicians chop their money. FOOLS

  The writer is to be commended for a well-written article but his attempt to sneak in partisanship support for NPP is fraudulent. Both NDC and NPP are responsible for the electric power crisis and are also equally visionless. There was "dumsor" during the 8-year administration of President Kufuor. The situation has only worsened now.
  
  None of these 2 parties has the vision to come up with a workable plan to tap into sustainable forms of energy generation. A large proportion o the receipts from our oil sales should have been invested in solar energy and other sustainable forms such as wind power etc. Germany a nation that can hardly be said to be tropical is today one of the leading producers of solar energy. In fact, Germany intends to eliminate its dependence on nuclear energy completely thanks to the great results achieved in generating sustainable forms of energy.
  
  Both NDC and NPP have woefully failed our nation in every way and have also equally been ridden with corruption. No opportunism, Mr Alhassan, our country needs new leadership not born of either NDC or NPP!

I believe if our leaders are suffering from the dumsor so much, they will sit down, think and find solutions to it. Why am I saying that? When they need money for themselves, they go for loans. Hahaha
