  The foolishness of NDC to use revenues from the AKAN AREAS to furbish the ewe nation is too blight. Look at all the oil revenues being generated from the Western Region YET the place is so unpove rished.

  The people in the Western region have a valid claim against the ewe -induced ndc government. The Western region must be receive a fair share of is taken from their region.....NDC cannot rob off western region to pay the lazy volta region people.IT IS ABOUT TIME FOR DECENTRALIZATION AND FEREALISM

  The issue of claiming 10% of oil revenue by any region is non- starter. No matter how any inward- looking tribalist will want to justify it. In the course of our history as a nation both pre and post independence era, resources from various regions in the country have helped in shaping the entire country. Even the north which had little or no resources as at the time provided labour for the cocoa farms which carried the nation for so long. There was nowhere that the government gave 10% of the cocoa revenue to the cocoa producing regions. Therefore any thought of ewes commandeering 10% of the oil revenue generated from the oil find in their region will be fully resisted. When the Volta region had nothing other regions carried them on their backs without requesting to be treated differently. We wait to see which government will make that foolish decision.
