When major programming and funding occurs, it is credited to the government of that day.

There are many more examples we could give, if we cared!

Every Ghanaian cursed the day that this cunning and dishonest man was invited to join the UGCC as its General Secretary, and he was, and still is, the mother of all traitors in Ghana. It was legitimate and even desirable to overthrow that callous, one party state and president for life communist dictator. And I congratulate Kotoka and his friends once again for securing our second independence and delivering us from Kwame Nkrumah; one of the most dangerous human beings that ever lived on the African continent.

Did you read over your comment because the contents do not make sense? Did you attend the free secondary school in Ghana, university in Ghana, enjoyed free medical health in Ghana, etc? Why are you so bitter about Nkrumah?

Of course, Nkrumah made mistakes by the way the PDA was implemented, declaration of the one party state, President for life and others but the fact still remains that had leaders after Nkrumah undertaken a quarter of the development projects he initiated, Ghana and Ghanaians would be better off than now.

You appear to be a very angry person when it comes to Nkrumah and that has beclouded your ability to think and be rational.

How could those leaders after nkrumah have function well when there was nothing left in the public purse after he was given the nib in the butt? Nkrumah was great but, fact is, he tried to kill two birds with one stone. He should have had to stay focus on Ghana. He was doing good by any stretch of imagination but his divided attention on Ghana and African unity made him loose focus. The spate of development within that shot period was overwhelming but all was supported by the available funds at his disposal from the word go, the cocoa/agricultural industry was booming, the mining sector at his tenure was doing extremely well, the size of labor force was marginally low which made emolument services containable. And, above all, Ghana's the pupolation, which Stood around 5 million at that time, was much easy to manage. So it would be highly unfair for any one to compare the achievements of Nkrumah to any subsequent regime after he was shown the exit. He simply had free money to spend and even a surplus to spend on Guinea and Mali. It is therefore very unfortunate to hear people,who should know better, taunting his achievements which was something easy for any idiot to accomplish.

What do they do with their captured terrorists? So while you enjoy the health, safety and security provided by the US government via its effective institutions you hypocritically malign those that kept Ghana intact from the activities of your kinfolks and presumed hero from your tribe. Why I ask do you not raise your principled objections with the US government where you live as a citizen with what is happening at Guantanamo bay residents and stop yapping about the exact things Nkrumah did some 50 years ago? Nkrumah's actions were so inhuman, dictatorial, harsh and undemocratic that it is now practiced by best Western democracies fighting terrorism.
