  They say charity begins at home but I say it pays to be principled. Holding governments accountable starts with govermrnt workers or civil servants earning their monthly wages even if but meager. Workers must be at work on time to provide the public with needed support services. It should continue at home where spouses and youth do feel the moral obligation to question parents who seem to spend beyond what their honest earnings can account for and it surely begins with landlords who are greedy to ask for a years rent upfront from a tenants at the start of working life.
  It is only when we take life serious enough in our enclaves and communities that we can bring those very values into public life. What is accountability in a society where most despicable social acts have been normalized?

  African integration is 80% in the eastern block, nearly 50% in West African, very soon there would be a convergence. Moreover, our challenges as a continent are similar irrespective of countries. Take corruption and embezzlement of youth fund, they cut across Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, Egypt and or Nigeria.
